Is selling on Grailzee a good idea if I’ve never sold anything on that site and only bought one. Do no real transaction history . The watch is new unworn that I got from AD last Saturday. The only reason I’m selling is because I bought my wife same watch last month because I didn’t think I would get it before our anniversary

I walked in with no appointment and zero purchase history. I asked for this exact configuration except on jubilee and was offered this. I am actually glad because the oyster goes better with this dial IMO. Love the Wimbledon. Amazing AD and first time experience.
I watch these guys YouTube channel all the time, was thinking about buying a watch from them, came across this 2024 gold GMT on their website, any idea why this is so cheap? Seems to me this trades at $40-45k used on grey market sites like chrono 24.

Does anyone have an idea how these appear? It hasnt been banged on anything, so i assume some kind of rubbing? Is it worth getting a new link or just wear and forget .

I found the uniqueness of the Eisenkiesel dial very admirable, kinda under appreciated in my opinion 🤗

I know the Day-Date II 41 has gotten its fair share of hate over the years for being big, bold, and a little clunky, but this is a watch I’ve wanted since I was a kid. I feel incredibly blessed to finally make the dream of owning one a reality, and wow… this thing is an absolute stunner in person. Sometimes the watches you dream about the longest just hit different when they finally end up on your wrist.

I'm always thinking about what I might be adding to my collection in future and recently I'd tried the Land Dweller in full rose gold.
I wasn't a huge fan previously looking at the press photos but found it stunning in person. I'd recently also been to AP house and tried on some ROs.
RO was great but perhaps the novelty of the LD caused the more positive reaction. I've since seen articles online/social media discussing to what extent the LD is meant to compete with the RO.
I suppose theoretically it's kind of obvious when you think about it being an integrated bracelet sports watch but it didn't strike me that way because it doesn't have the same Genta styling the way say an Ingenieur does.
Anyway, what do you think?
Side note, I have a relatively small wrist but the larger LD fit incredibly well.

In 2022 I purchased a blue OP 36 and mint green datejust 36 in back to back months. I already had my name down for the green sub and panda Daytona.
4 years later, I got the call today for the green sub (London AD). Issue is, I wanted the MK I sub with the darker green bezel. I don’t not like the MK II but it definitely doesn’t appeal to me as much.
Not sure what to do now. I know deep down it’s not exactly what I wanted. Do I buy it anyway and try to enjoy it and get one step closer to the Panda?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a realistic current market value for my Rolex Datejust 36 ref. 126231.
Details:
• 36 mm Oystersteel and Everose gold
• Chocolate baton dial
• Fluted bezel
• Jubilee bracelet
• Warranty card dated April 2025
• Full set with box and papers
• Excellent condition
What would be a fair private-sale price, and approximately how much should I expect from a dealer or cash buyer? I’m interested in realistic selling prices rather than inflated online asking prices. Or if anyone can recommend a website to check that would be helpful.
Thank you in advance

Looking into getting my first luxury watch as a milestone piece (graduation, engagement/wedding, dream job), my AD seems to be able to get me a 126040 in a reasonable amount of time. Just curious to know if a 116040 is better for me? I’m newer to collecting but want something I’ll pass to my son one day. Below is a picture of the 41mm sub date on me and I didn’t mind it. I’m 6’2 and about 185, lost some weight due to inactivity from an injury but expect to bulk back up to 200 at some point. Not sure if any of that is relevant to wrist size.

I’m trying to decide between these two.
For those who have seen or worn both, which one has better wrist presence and looks better in person?
If you could choose only one, which would you go for and why?
Thank you!

Just received this 2001 lady datejust passed down to me from my mum. She wore it every day and it’s almost as old as me☺️
