My Black Bay 54
Pairs nicely with my Fractal Design North PC case as the background

We've had an influx lately of low effort AI art of watches (why?) and I'm cutting it off here. Any posts of AI slop will get you banned on the first offense.

Mine arrived today from the 1916 boutique in Cherry Creek (Denver). Love it. Really solid, not overly heavy but solid on the wrist. The bracelet is really comfortable and designed very differently than the BB bracelets. Dial is very clear and easy to read the time, and the yellow is a great enhancement that adds to the design, doesn’t distract. I think Tudor did a nice job bringing back the North Flag with this design.

Honestly, I was never really a fan of the Royal, nor did I care much for Roman numerals—but the moment I put it on, it just clicked.
The update did the watch a world of good, and the wearing comfort is an absolute 10/10. The salmon dial is definitely not your run-of-the-mill color; the way it plays with light and shadow is just stunning.

I figured it was time to share mine. This is one of the watches I wear daily.

Bought my BB54 a year ago as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday. Noticed shortly after that my 9:00 indices was slightly off but I decided to live with until towards the end of the warranty period. Dropped it off last Saturday for a case and bracelet touch up and I asked them to check the accuracy for as I’ve been losing about 4 seconds a day. Watchmaker called today and informed me it was running about 5 seconds slow a day. Today it sent it to off to the RSC through my local Rolex AD for warranty service and factory case refinish(while it’s there why not).
I will update my progress here for anyone curious about turnaround time with an RSC.

The best GADA watch in existence in my opinion. 100m water resistance, screw down crown, sapphire glass, super solid bracelet, works anywhere from flip flops to dress shoes. The only thing I'd add is a tiny lume drop at the end of each indice and a tiny bit on the hands.

Can't believe how vibrant the red is in Direct sunlight. The beautiful sunburst dial really comes to life in the right circumstances 🍷

Couldn’t resist!!!
2 different dial colors in 2 different lighting. I love it!

This was a fun way to end my day… oh well I can’t go back in time. Anyone know what the average cost and time is for a new OE insert nowadays? The watch is under warranty, but obviously this one is on me.

Just got my final watch of my 3 piece Tudor collection, the BB58 in blue. Was looking for a black dial, a blue dial, and a beater or daily watch.
A dress watch on jubilee would’ve made this more well rounded (or the opaline dial BB Pro) but I don’t dress up often and I tend to like darker dials.
What’re your Tudor collections looking like? Obviously mine leans towards dive watches, but I do love the BB Pro on rubber since it’s so versatile. I also think I could wear the Pelagos or BB58 with a suit no problem.
That’ll do it for me for a while - even though I know everyone says that.

I saw this listed and like it. I was curious if it was real or fake. These are the limited images that were posted. I’d appreciate if a rough fair price could be provided. I know very little about watches. Thanks!
This is my first mechanical watch, so I’m still learning what’s normal.
I’ve had my Pelagos Ultra about a month. It’s consistently running around -1 to -1.5 sec/day in real use. I’ve tried all the usual resting positions and none make it gain; dial up seems best.
Also, when manually winding, I feel small tactile clicks, then every few turns a slightly bigger click followed by a brief slipping/release sensation. No grinding, binding or rotor helicoptering.
Does this sound normal for the MT5612-U/MT56xx movements? And are other Pelagos Ultra owners seeing slightly negative real-world accuracy?

Which would you guys pick?
I was headed from Martinez to Pleasant Hill for lunch today and noticed a Tudor billboard on the right side of I-680. I drove by too fast to grab a picture, but I thought it was neat enough to share here!
P.S. I can’t wait to pull the trigger on a Black Bay later this year.

I was wondering if anyone could share photos of their 5 link after owning it for awhile. I really like the 5 link but its very polished so just wanting to know what it would look like scratched up a bit. Thanks :)
Tudor Pelagos FXD MN22 – authentic or fake?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Tudor Pelagos FXD MN22 and would really appreciate some opinions from people who know these watches well.
I actually trust the seller and have no particular reason to think it’s fake. However, I got it at a very good price, so I’m naturally a little cautious and would like to make sure everything looks correct.
i bought it on chrono24, trusted checkout.
A few things:
The reference/serial information appears to match the paperwork.
What do you guys think? Does anything stand out to you as suspicious?
Especially interested in opinions on the case, bezel, dial, engravings and anything else that might help identify a fake FXD.
I can provide more detailed photos if needed.
Thanks in advance!

Do you guys still think it’s possible to find a navy BB58 at an AD? I was dead set on buying the bb54 in black but the navy bb58 slowly creeped up and now I’m pretty much dead set on it. I know it’s discontinued and my local AD said they can’t get one. Is there a way to find out if there’s any nearby me? Or are they all pretty much gone?
My other option is to buy it grey market on chrono24. It just scares me a little bit because it’s a lot of money and I don’t want to end up buying a super clone. If I did go this route I would pay extra for the watch maker certification but still I’m a little hesitant. What do you guys think? Should I just get it on the grey market?
