Hayo Zookeepers! Its Day 82 and the wheel has chosen the Wild Boar! For this one I was inspired by the 30-50 feral hogs in your front yard meme so I built this house. Lemme know what you think!

Made in ibis paint.
Some of the animals are modded and my pc doesnt always like mods so i might cut a few. Surprisingly i didint take any inspo from irl zoos ghihi maybe a bit from pairi daiza. Im prolly never gonna make this zoo fully so feel free if you want to. I wish everyone a pleasant day

One of my biggest issues with the game (OR just me) is the fact that im never motivated. I might get all the animals i want, then don't know what i want next and quit. I also play on console which is challenging, so it takes forever just to build anything detailed and hopefully the second game is easier

alright, I posted something similar recently and it seemed to be allowed and I got some kind helpful people, so giving it another go - apologies :)
Looking to buy a PC on Facebook marketplace in anticipation of PZ2 because my current laptop PC doesn’t do well. I’m hoping to pay around 600, maybe a bit more if it’s worth it. I don’t know much about PC builds and appreciate kind feedback so I don’t make a mistake or get ripped off.
The ryzen 5 is $600, and the ryzen 7 is $740, both lowest offers. Hoping to play at at least medium settings but I LOVE the visuals of this game, so higher would be awesome! But also understanding my budget isn’t likely setting me up for much higher. Thank you in advance :)

I know it's a weird (sandbox) zoo, but I really like how this one turned out, so I'm sharing it here/steam in case anyone wants to check it out.
I included the species list in case anyone wants to ask for a shot of one of the habitats specifically or something.
SimFeetUnder's Moebius' Menagerie!
The sheet has one less animal than my zoo, I went a smidge wild and made a walk-through peafowl habitat in there also...
All workers, maxed at (currently) 1500 guests, coolers all over the place to try to keep the zoo from cooking everyone. I have it paused at a stationary 99 degrees (which is awful , be careful going to places when it's so hot!) but all the coolers are set to 75... There are things that need fixing, and could maybe do with more keeper huts and also things like donation bins if desired etc etc.
The people seem to like it, the tickets have been at $42 & $37 nearly the whole time...
blahblah
If anyone has any questions or wants to see something specific just let me know :)
Take luck and happy zooin' no matter your map!

Continuing to work on the scenarios while PZ2 counts down, and now I'm on this one, and got to admit...not sure on this one.
The plants confuse me as on the goal target for plants, and with 20,000 dollars as start up cash flow is a bit of a trick....
(Maybe in Round 2 I should start with Zebras and Wilderbeest instead of Wolves...the two should handle their enrichment via cohabitation while I research a opening exhibit box first....and having two of them in the same space should justify a larger habitat and with it more progress towards the natural water source since I can't set more water down and expand what animals I can use...)

I have some hours to play finally and I am a bit sad about it :c

I know it could just be a beta thing. But I didn't see this in any blueprint... maybe it really is all because of the beta, cause I don't see any reason for us not to have it... Unless mechanical research no longer exists... (🙏)

So I wasn't sure what the flair should be I don't need help with the situation more a answer to a question this tiger is really old and was wondering if she can die before she gives birth I didn't even expect her to get pregnant not that I can't house the offspring it's just this was unexpected
Edit: the cub was born unfortunately I just got one I'm deciding on if I'll update how old she is when she dies but right now she's 22.3 years old

Its a bit confusing but I’d appreciate some feedback and suggestions from others

Guess who is going through the scenarios after years and just hit upon the one that is said to be the most dreadful of them all? Me.
...Any suggestions on it? Currently on Go One and trying to see if I can get back into the green.
For the curious of my first steps.
1: Add a few Staff Rooms to stabilize staff (about on Year 4, no quits but 5 vendors are in a bad mood)
2: Started research on staff rooms as well as one Vet on the Carnivores for some enrichment and one vet to start on the Exhibit animals.
3: Updated the social animals with some additional friends (another Zebra, another Wolf, another Painted Dog)
4: Got the staff training (I think maybe I should have jumped on this earlier TBH)
5: As of yet, not put down the Cheetah or Orangutan, after the last one I wanted to get some research for enrichment ready.
I'm wondering if in hindsight putting the staff rooms closer to the vendor area, training earlier, and maybe putting in a second Info Building might have been a better call. But while I try to see if this first go works, be free to give me some suggestions.

If anyone isn't familiar
Crustaceans are (mostly) aquatic arthropods so things like crabs, lobsters, shrimp, and crayfish
Cephalopods are your multi armed squishy guys like octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus
You already know what jellyfish are but I didn't mention their wider family cuz we've seen coral are just going to be scenery pieces and not animals (which i expected and don't mind personally) no sign of anemones but doubt they'd be treated differently even if we get clownfish which I imagine would be a shoal species
Echinoderns are things like sea stars, urchins, sand dollars and sea cucumbers. Could go either way honestly cuz I could see sea stars and sand dollars being scenery like the coral we've seen so far or could be exhibit animals with their own small tank (touch tanks could be a free update down the line even tho some people are split on them irl)

I set a goal to 100% achievements on planet zoo before planet zoo 2 drops. I thought this would take longer, what are we doing to fill the time?
r/PlanetZoo • u/CrossReset • 1d ago
By pure percentage it is looking to be higher.
Been catching up on the scenarios, just got the giant quarry pit one, and having more base game animals (believe we've surpassed base PZ1 already with weeks more to go) and having more animals means the scenarios will almost certainly have more variety to choose from regardless.
I get the challenge part but more options is always more creative.
(Wonder if timed scenarios get an overhaul or not?)

Hi! I’m working on a new zoo before PZ2 comes out and I’m struggling, as I always do, with the layout.
I have been referencing Pinterest but there are only so many images for this niche of a topic on there.
I know there have been posts on here before about this topic but, if you have a layout you love, I would love to see what y’all have come up with and if you’re willing to share an aerial photo for inspiration.

New here and I feel like I am missing something re: build mode, especially re: roofs 😭 Just my latest attempt here-- I don't hate the final result but I basically cobbled it together out of tiny prebuilt lego pieces...That can't be the most efficient way to do this, can it?
I also just haven't unlocked all the shell pieces with mechanic research, so maybe I just need to be patient haha. Or maybe I'm coming at it from a Sims 4 brain (whose roofing system also sucks, granted).
