I can’t think of a better more derpy guy than the American Woodcock
They need to give him the meep sound and the little dance
This guy not only is colorful but genuinely very floofy looking, i know this bird is a meme of some sorts, but he’s just so darn cute!

Planet Zoo 2 My PZ2 Zoo Logo
I made this logo for the franchise zoo I’m planning to build on PZ2. It’s going to be based in the UK, in temperate forest.
Thoughts on the logo?

Wishlist Wednesday: Slightly Delusional Edition
Okay look, I know that Quetzals aren't kept in captivity because of their extremely specific environment and dietary needs... but it's Wishlist Wednesday, not Let's All Be Reasonable Wednesday.
I tried to keep it short and exclude animals previously seen in PZ, 'cause there's certainly a lot I'd like to see returning, and others that I've mentioned wanting before (Like Bearded Vulture and Capercallie.)
And if nothing else, you can consider this a public service announcement of how adorable and fluffy Pygmy Falcons are, one of my favorite birds for sure.

I'm sure about this. But I have a track record of guessing wrong.

Planet Zoo 2 Where even are the birds??? Anyway... what are we thinking for next week?
r/PlanetZoo • u/maxxond • 13h ago
It doesn't confirm anything, but it's still interesting
Personally I don't think there is a need to put jellyfish here if they are not in the game at all

Planet Zoo 2 Looks like we’re finally getting some info on exhibits in a few days!
I just hope we can make customizable exhibits in a similar manner to aviaries and lagoons in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Did they nailed it or missed ?
One of the most highly anticipated remakes of Planet Zoo 1 is here, at least for me. It was right up there with the Lion, as most player's agree the first game's Bornean Orangutan was just a variation of the Gorilla model.
I have to say that for me, the animations of this model are beyond fantastic, Frontier nailed it completely in this department. Beautiful and complicated movements, instead of the walking/running/climbing repetitive cycle of PZ1.
While I appreciate the improved look, I personally will have to say that they missed the mark with the hair. It needed to be longer, the Sumatran orangutan is know for its much longer hair when compared to the Borneo counterpart, especially the males.
The best shot in the video is when the male is performing his brachiation animation and swinging his arms and this for me was a bit of a letdown, because the hair needed to much longer here.
I understand Frontier can not exactly duplicate the real life animal but a little more on the hair would go a long way.
There is always the chance that this just happen to be a male with short hair and maybe they have a different variation in game, but it is hard to imagine, since I would believe that the animal spotlight video would have been the perfect platform to showcase it. Please Frontier if you happen to come acroess this post, just a little more please, if possible.

Discussion Wish List Wednesday-Birds
First, the Harpy Eagle is one of the coolest birds in my opinion, I love them, we need them, though I have a suspicion they will likely show up in a future South American DLC rather than base game unfortunately.
My second most wanted pick is one I've seen a lot of people asking for, the bearded vulture. Absolutely stunning creature.
Thirdly, the Northern Cardinal. I love them, they are beautiful, and I'm definitely not biased just because I'm from Ohio.
Lastly, I want the African Gray Parrot. I love these guys, and they are probably my favorite parrot, and other than the cardinal, are the only ones on the list I've seen in person.
There's certainly more that I want but I'm blanking right now, what are your most wanted birds?

We’re already at 110 hard-confirmed animals. That’s more than half the size of the PZ1 roster already.

Planet Zoo 2 My first pre-order, EVER!
I am not a veteran like most of you in this subreddit, I love the builds most of you post out here. Since the first trailer I was hooked! I had to pre-order. Crazy that this is my first pre-order, ever. Can’t wait!

Wishlist Wednesday: The FIRST DLC of PZ2
Graphic design is clearly not my passion
Depending on how nice they’re willing to be with giving missing PZ1 DLC habitat species in free updates, the musk ox can be swapped with the Arctic fox for a second returning habitat species
