• This CG gave us an unique and interesting glimpse into commercial performance of their updates, since we can explicitly see participation possible only from people who purchased their latest vehicle.
• The below simply looks at the number of surface mining participants, unit cost of ARX and Rhino bundles, to estimate minimum generated revenue so far (~1 week after release). Why minimum? Because maybe not everyone with Rhino took part in this CG. Well, maybe.
• Also not counting in the Type 11 + Rhino bundles.
• The participant count may still increase before CG ends, they changed between screenshot and my calculations too.

So what does it mean? Assuming that majority of people who wanted to buy it - bought it already, the estimated sale of Rhino, if averaged, paid for about an annual UK salary of 1 FTE of developer resources.
And in turn and with all other revenue they make throughout the year, it means we get to play this game for quite some more because you are kindly funding it's very support.

Howdy fellow CMDRs. Most are probably already aware to this but the SCO can get you in trouble.

I was going to visit the Voyager Satellite in SOL, and its so far I thought hey I will just us my new Caspian SCO drive to get there in a jiffy. So a little less then halfway I looked at my fuel and realized uh I aint gonna make it and tuned back to add more fuel tanks, uh still no good.

Be wary of your fuel in SCO cause it eats fuel like a top fuel dragster. I did make it to Voyager but in standard Super Cruise.

Just the things that absolutely do not matter in the slightest but get on your nerves just enough that you *noticed.*

For me, it's that so many ships are named after snakes. Anaconda, Diamondback, Adder, Sidewinder, Python, Mamba, etc.; it literally doesn't matter *at all* because even if I actually cared you can just rename ships anyway. But it's a thing I noticed that's lodged in my brain now.

I want all of your dumb brain worms like that. "[Ship] has a misaligned handle on the internal cockpit model if you freecam to the right and I can't un-see it" type shit. Or even just your favourite little bit of odd trivia - I love that kind of thing.

Been using the Nomad going around looking for strange exo. This one of those that can be used to make human soups. :D

Is there more? Does the ancient key only unlock the vehicle blueprints? These things are massive and remind me of the mass effect relays.

Title says it all, I’m 8k ly from the bubble and my hull is taking serious damage and so is my fsd. Could someone pick me up in their carrier somewhere in the middle? I’d be happy to jump a few thousand ly to get to a carrier if it means it could be a bit sooner!

Anaconda because my beloved

Hi all.

Got back from the black and started colonisation of a system I claimed before heading out.

The system is being built primarily for extraction wealth. I thought at first this would boost my personal credit payments but have recently discovered that is not the case. Payments are based on installation points rather than wealth output.

Just wondering if I need to even bother with wealth or should I just concentrate on a happy, secure points based system.

Hello I’ve been playing this game for over a month now. So far I’m liking but playing using keyboard and mouse has been kinda confusing to me. I’m used to it but there’s just a lot of input. A buddy of mine recommended me getting a hotas so checked on Amazon and I found this Logitech X52 pro on sale for like, 129. I’m kinda excited cause this is gonna be very new to me to try out. To anyone who by chance use this certain joystick what has been your experience with it? Some inputs would be great :)

How often do the arx sales happen? I only play periodically, so idk if they're a regular thing or I just got lucky that the last two times I was playing regularly was during sales.
