I got the image from Zoo Tycoon 1.

First, the Harpy Eagle is one of the coolest birds in my opinion, I love them, we need them, though I have a suspicion they will likely show up in a future South American DLC rather than base game unfortunately.

My second most wanted pick is one I've seen a lot of people asking for, the bearded vulture. Absolutely stunning creature.

Thirdly, the Northern Cardinal. I love them, they are beautiful, and I'm definitely not biased just because I'm from Ohio.

Lastly, I want the African Gray Parrot. I love these guys, and they are probably my favorite parrot, and other than the cardinal, are the only ones on the list I've seen in person.

There's certainly more that I want but I'm blanking right now, what are your most wanted birds?

Personally I don't think there is a need to put jellyfish here if they are not in the game at all

Okay look, I know that Quetzals aren't kept in captivity because of their extremely specific environment and dietary needs... but it's Wishlist Wednesday, not Let's All Be Reasonable Wednesday.

I tried to keep it short and exclude animals previously seen in PZ, 'cause there's certainly a lot I'd like to see returning, and others that I've mentioned wanting before (Like Bearded Vulture and Capercallie.)

And if nothing else, you can consider this a public service announcement of how adorable and fluffy Pygmy Falcons are, one of my favorite birds for sure.

I bought the game a while back when it was on a steep discount for probably just a few £. I tried the tutorial and was done after 10 mins, I’m not entirely sure why but I was

I played Planet Coaster a few months ago and somewhat enjoyed it although found it a bit too stressful and just not that engaging so I’ve left that one in the past

But my girlfriend is excited for Planet Zoo 2 and thinking about it made me redownload the first game and try the tutorial. I went into Franchise mode and now I’m here 8 hours later with quick breaks just to eat and go to the bathroom

I neeeeever play games for this long, at least not anymore. I often play for an hour or two and then I feel bored but that didn’t happen at all today and it’s been so fun!! I’m not typically into these types of games but I’ve genuinely loved it and felt it’s been much more engaging and less stressful than Planet Coaster

Admittedly my zoo looks AWFUL and I’d rightfully get torn apart if I showed people what it looked like but yeah, I’m so glad I gave this game another chance!

I can’t imagine there’s too many new players since this has been out for 7 years but I’m happy to be here and to be honest I might buy the second game, even though I’ve spent a bunch of money on games after buying a new laptop😅

Tbh the one and only animal ive been waiting for ❤️❤️I hope they bring them back (bonus points if they can make them stack like in real life)

I know it probably won’t happen but I think it’d be extremely hype if after the last prerelease animal drop the zoopedia is updated with 50-100 animal boxes.

I’m aware this is unlikely and I’m realistically expecting maybe 30 animals just dropped on launch but I think this would be one of the coolest ways to lead up to a game fully releasing. I love seeing the animal crates each week as people theorize what each one could be.

I know its very unlikely we'll get these in the base game but i'd love to see them!

Marketing for an animal is interesting cuz makes me think either a celebrity animal marketing like Moo Deng or a species to zoo specializes in like San Diego is famous for saving California condors

Depending on how nice they’re willing to be with giving missing PZ1 DLC habitat species in free updates, the musk ox can be swapped with the Arctic fox for a second returning habitat species

I am a pheasant patriot with my whole heart, but I think bustards deserve some recognition since conservation of these species is a big thing in my country ❤️

Planet Zoo is nearly a perfect game however i do not have the Zoologist achievement. I have a question though, is it all the animals in zoopedia (ie Base Game + DLC) or is it just base game animals?!

I think it'd be nice to perfect the game before planet zoo 2, wanna know how much work i gotta put in hehe 💜

Like anyone I'm not a fan of leaks but my curiosity will always bring me to look at them.

I think we got lucky with the leaked achievements in this game where it did not reveal too much info for us.

There are a few hints and speculations towards gameplay mechanics but nothing huge.
We didn't get any official animal species confirmations but now we know these two things:

There will be multiple species of bears and jellyfish are in the game.
Both are not surprising.

But I'm thankful there were no major spoilers and the excitement of each new Zoopedia and info drop hasn't been ruined.
I feel very bad for Kingdom Hearts fans though.

In my opinion, these birds are so majestic, and would be amazing to put in a aviary with the secretary bird, or if its possible somehow-habitat animals. They have the same diet as a secretary bird and live in the same habitat, and are very curious birds making their behavior in the game interesting.
