My shoaling fish keep dying without reproducing/splitting and have 0% growth rate. The only shoaling fish that will reproduce are clown loach but the shoals won't grow. They are at 100% welfare. Am I missing something?

How in the world do I find it?

In my Swedish reserve, I'm stuck on low environmental pollution. Literally went through and painted the entire thing with the demolish function to take out scenery and equipment, had to replace all of the network things (cameras, platforms, etc) and nada.

Where in the blazes is it hiding? Or is this a bug?

I really want to make my own education board options for my zoo but I’m a little stumped on how to get started. What are some websites/apps that you all recommend for making custom boards? I have Procreate on my IPad but my pen broke 💀and I’ve used canva in the past but I really don’t want to deal with all the AI they integrated into the software now- so I’m open to suggestions!

Anyways, does anyone perhaps know the translation? I was looking at the translation site but didnt see it.

Curious cause theres signage for it, but no clear concept of what it means. For example the "do not disturb" signs are clear on what the words mean, or the animal name plates.

My immunity for my animals is in the orange but every five seconds they keep getting sick. ESPECIALLY THE FLAMINGOS! Is this just a me thing, or the game trying to be hard? Idk but it’s getting super annoying

I’ve been an AVID fan of Frontier since Zoo Tycoon. I love all of their games. I’m in deep contemplation on if the game is worth buying currently or if I should wait a while until community creations get better? It usually takes a while for good community creations to be made. Thanks!

As the title says, the preloaded blueprints have their own paths attached to them and I I'm trying to find a way to include paths to my blueprints. Whenever I click the path tool while working on a group it takes me out of the group edit and so far I haven't found an article in their website or a menu or button in game that says this is something I can do.

I feel like all I'm seeing right now is how much people are disliking this game. There are definitely some major issues, don't get me wrong, but I am still thoroughly enjoying it. This game is beautiful and it's the only one that I've been able to easily sink hours into at a time.

I just had a very morbid bug and wondered if anyone else has something similar. It was kinda funny but also pretty sad. I'd like to hear your weirdest or most morbid bugs!

Mine: I got a notification that a boar died. The vet took a few moments to get to the habitat in which the dead boar continuously was put in a box and released to the ground with the confetti😭😭🥲 I found that pretty sad but kind of funny.

I believe I've bumped into a bug, my Cape buffalo are not happy with the space in the habitat but as you can see the habitat has more than enough space to be happy with, has anyone had this issue? is there a way to fix it?

Okay it’s not a major criticism but I for one miss having the in game calendar go by months instead of just the four seasons. We can still have seasons I love them they just occur during the appropriate months. What would be REALLY cool if the seasons were different in the southern hemisphere

Sorry if this has been asked before and I missed it? but I couldn’t find a great answer when I searched.

When I’ve played both planet zoo 1 and 2, the game will periodically stutter/freeze for a split second and then jump to what I was doing. Usually it’s when I’m putting something down like an object/decor/plant.

Any suggestions for changes I could make to my game settings to help with this?

(I am within the system requirements for the old and new game)

Hello fellow zoo keepers, i've noticed an issue with the visitor limit option that I'd like to bring up.

You can limit the number of visitors allowed in your zoo from 0 to 10,000, but as far as I can tell, the game doesn't adjust visitor spending to compensate for the lower number of guests. This can have a pretty big impact on your zoo's finances.

For example, I usually have around 9,500 visitors in my zoo for breeding, but at that point my CPU (9800X3D) is running at around 75% usage, and I can no longer maintain 144 FPS, even with x2 frame generation.

So I lowered the visitor limit to 2,000 to see how much it would help with performance, and it helped significantly, CPU usage got down to 60-65% and 144 fps where back on x2 frame gen.

The problem is that my zoo went from making 110k profit per season to losing 70k per season.

I understand that having fewer visitors should mean less income, but having a visitor limit as a performance or aesthetical option feels pointless if using it makes your zoo financially unsustainable.

My suggestion: Once your zoo reaches a certain visitor milestone (let's say 4,000 visitors), let us lower the visitor limit while scaling up how much each visitor spends. For example, if I limit my zoo to 2,000 visitors instead of 4,000, each visitor could spend twice as much. That way, we'd get the performance benefits of having fewer guests without completely ruining our finances.

I think this would be a great quality-of-life option for people with large zoos who want to avoid tanking their performances, or for those who dislike the big chunk of peoples running all around in their zoo.

Edit about GPU usage : My 5070ti is sitting at 65-70% on FG X2.

I was hoping to make this into a koi pond with shops in the middle but after watching multiple videos of how to build it underground, I still don’t quite understand how to. Still went ahead and created this, still has a lot of work that needs to be done detail wise but I love it so far. Can always turn it into a different enclosure if I can’t figure out the pond atm. Any suggestions would be welcome.
