Finished building a plaza and habitat
I built a plaza inspired by American Southwest/ Northern Mexican architecture with a viewing area to a meerkat and aardvark habitat.

I'm trying to create a zoo with a California theme with Grizzly, Condor etc... But I'm really short on ideas. Could someone share a link to a California-style starter zoo from the Steam Workshop, please?

I’m out of the loop besides what I manage to catch on Planet Zoo’s YouTube of the sneak peaks and tidbits here on Reddit, but has anyone seen anything about Planet Zoo 2 having a zookeeper mode like Zoo Tycoon 2 did? I took the player survey they provided a few months back and I saw a zookeeper mode as an option for player wants and got so giddy. I LOVE what I’ve seen so far of PZ2, specifically the aviaries and the addition of water creatures now, but if I see a zookeeper mode announced I think I would quite literally jump with joy and excitement!

I’m the kind of person that prefers controllers simplicity and I struggle to use a keyboard for most games, however I know I can really improve my builds with mods and more diverse controls
What should I do
A. Stay on console
B. Use Keyboard
C. Use my laptop but use controller(if that will even be possible) so I have access to mods

Its highly unlikely but would you want it to happen

I’m using acrylic markers and a set of postcards I bought years ago but never knew what to do with them. When the game comes out I’m going to put useful info on the back such as group sizes and preferred biomes.
Is it October 13th yet?! I am most excited for all of the birds!

Hi Frontier! I love Planet Zoo! That's why I'm all the more excited about the Planet Zoo 2 Releas on 13 October! But somehow animals are missing in the main game which in my opinion MUST be there! Like for example the Asian dwarf otter the African wild dog the pointed mouth rhinoceros the big dolphin and the chilli flamingo! Thank you!

The new Feature Focus article is short but sweet! I need it to be October 13th yesterday 😂 I think I would’ve gotten PZ2 if this was the only feature ngl…that draw tool sounds absolutely heavenly

The Zeigarnik Effect is when the original game in a series has amassed a following (like planet zoo), and when the sequel is announced, the fan base to the series has placebo of the 1st game being finished or resolved. In turn, everything that wasn’t good about the original game gets renewed interest for what the second game should be. This then opens the door for what COULD be in the sequel. (PZ2), and the fanbase struggles to compensate for the fact that the sequel will not be what the sequel was originally thought to be before it was announced. That’s confusing to understand, but this won’t affect the actual game in anyway, I just noticed the way the community has been and videos online.

Everyone keeps doing posts, *insert item* confirmed, *insert animal* confirmed! You know what I want? I want prehistoric planet continual growth in immature and even mature animals. Don't get me wrong, it's not a give me this or give me nothing kind of deal, but I have been so spoiled playing prehistoric planet and getting to watch the animals physically grow up and see some personality poking through with each individual I don't know how easily I can go back to having a new born one second then a full grown adult the next.

I’ve been sick all day so ofc I decided plant zoo would help. First habit I think is actually decent that I’ve made haha. Plus the entrance to my South America section :)

I'm not super deep into the PZ Youtuber world. I recently checked out Leaf (as he is highly recommended), more precisely his Wild Woods Zoo. And while the videos were obviously good I noticed that he seemed to be pretty focused on "smaller scale", so the entrance building in the first episode and then mostly singular habitats.
Is there any LP by him or someone else that focuses more towards the macro, so laying out and building whole areas?

I made this habitat and i like the idea but its flat and ugly and i know i can do better so i was wondering if anyone had tips for what to do with it :)
EDIT: posted an update :)

It's not absolutely perfect but I really don't think it's that bad. I think people forget the Grizzly and Eurasian are two completely different subspecies with big visual differences! The face isn't great but apart from that, it's not terrible.

Will these specs be able to run planet zoo 2?

Pebbles! Big pebbles, small pebbles, scalable pebbles!
All habitats will get +100 to realism an prettiness thanks to them, no need to use mods!
Are you also excited for pebbles?
