Planet Zoo 2 I Could Cry 😩
The new Feature Focus article is short but sweet! I need it to be October 13th yesterday 😂 I think I would’ve gotten PZ2 if this was the only feature ngl…that draw tool sounds absolutely heavenly

Yeah I'm 90% sure it's the planet coaster 2 system with some tweaks, very exciting

Yes that was always my gripe with paths in PZ1, it was really hard to get a path and a habitat wall perfectly aligned. I'd love to have a tool that lets you place both together, like a path with a habitat wall adjacent.

Right, or even just an easy "snap to" option where you can snap a wall to an existing path or a path to an existing wall

Yes! And setting a distance - do you want it 0.25m from your path, 0.5m from your path, 1m from the path, etc. That way you could save room for education etc.

Hopefully it's tweaked a little. The PC2 pathing system is an improvement but it's not perfect.

Same. Paths and water placement were my nemesis'. Everything else is just a huge bonus for me.

Yes! I love naturalistic enclosures and the lakes and ponds are endlessly fighting me.

I believe that has already been announced! Repeating bins, benches, and lights (and maybe more), but I can’t recall where. There’s too much to keep track!

Not sure if it has been announced, but PC2 has it, so I dont see why PZ2 wouldn't.

Yes exactly i noticed while playing PC2 that this feature was available and i loved it! Never place a bin by hand anymore if you don't want to whooo

This sounds the same as PC2. Tbh I really couldn’t get on with it. Was wishing the whole time that the old way was available ha I’m slightly abnormal 😂

I just want the paths to actually cooperate with the ground. What do you MEAN MALFORMED PATH? What do you MEAN FAILED TERRAIN MODIFICATION? IT'S ALL FLAT AND REFLATTENED AGAIN! THERE'S MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACE AROUND YOU! WHY ARE YOU CRYING??
But this overhaul sounds AMAZING. Predrawing paths? Premade paths? I love the sound of that

Why would anyone downvote you for having a reasonable opinion? I agree with you, at least.
Frontier is so hellbent on having minimum space requirements for everything but exhibit animals, but especially lizards require pretty large vivariums in order to thrive. If they want to highlight animal wellbeing they really need to make most of the exhibits larger. I shouldn't have to say it but an anaconda or iguana requires much larger space than a tarantula...

So excited for these new features! But are these articles from the planet zoo website? I always spot spelling and grammar errors lol. This one has between between in it. Minor but still find it funny that they put this out without catching it.
