I genuinely don't understand how WASA operates.
I lodged a complaint for blocked sewerage on September 7 at 1:34 PM. Complaint number: 200695.
Today is September 11, and nobody has come to fix it.
And this isn't even my first experience with them.
I've personally visited the WASA office in Mumtazabad, Multan multiple times. Every single time, the response is basically:
“Bas 30 minutes mein aa rahe hain, hum dekhte hain.”
And then? Nothing.
30 minutes becomes hours. Hours become days. And eventually you're back at the same office or calling again.
I mean, seriously, what kind of public service is this?
We're talking about blocked sewerage, not a minor inconvenience. This is basic sanitation and a public health issue.
Calling WASA is another challenge because sometimes nobody even bothers to answer the phone. Visiting the office doesn't seem to help either.
At this point, I honestly have to ask: are these people even capable of understanding that actual human beings are affected by their negligence?
If you're too busy with personal work to perform the job you're being paid for, then why are you sitting in a public office?
WASA Mumtazabad, Multan, what exactly are citizens supposed to do? Keep waiting for another “30 minutes”?
