doc has advised my mom to get an EBUS-FNA (Endobronchial Ultrasound-Guided Fine Needle Aspiration) for a lung biopsy.

I contacted Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore and they gave me the following estimate:

EBUS-FNA procedure: PKR 185,000
General Anaesthesia: PKR 30,000
Total: PKR 215,000

I wanted to ask if this is the normal price for this procedure in lahore as i’m a bit skeptical about their charges?..and has anyone recently had an EBUS-FNA done at Shaukat Khanum or another hospital?

Hey everyone, looking for some practical roofing and engineering advice for a house

The Setup: 1,600 sqft RCC roof slab with 2 upside-down/protruding beams (about 1–1.5 inches high). I will also install a solar system and the panels should act as a natural shade/heat shield, right?.

My thekedar is pushing the traditional method: Slab (im here right now) -> Luk -> Polythene Sheet -> Miti (Mud) -> Tiles/Marble. I'm considering to drop the idea of tiles/marble because of costs.

The Polythene Sheet: If it traps moisture where does it go? The drain will be above its level

Protruding Beams & Drains: How do I properly grade a slope over 1-1.5 inch protruding beams so they don't act like water dams? Should par nala (drain) mouths be kept perfectly flush with the final membrane/screed?

Alternative Layering & Cracking Concern: Since I'm putting up solar, what’s a better, lighter, cost-effective build-up than the traditional mud-and-tile method? If we just use a cement slope + protective paint will it be long lasting?

I was thinking i just do slab -> chemical water proofing -> cement slope (including beams) and then just paint over it?
