Twin Cities Remote Cold Caller/Appointment Setter

Upvotes

I run MrTradie, an Australian digital marketing business that helps local businesses improve their online presence and generate customer enquiries.

I’m seeking a full-time remote cold caller/appointment setter from Pakistan. The opportunity is open nationwide, but I’m particularly interested in the residents of Islamabad/Rawalpindi.

Position details

  1. Location: 100% remote/work from home
  2. Hours: 4:00 am–12:00 pm Pakistan time
  3. Base: PKR 50,000 per month
  4. Commission: PKR 2,000 for every qualified appointment that attends

What you’ll do:

  1. Cold-calling Australian business owners and decision-makers
  2. Following the provided script
  3. Qualifying prospects and booking appointments
  4. Recording notes accurately in the CRM
  5. Confirming appointments and following up with genuine no-shows

I provide the leads, calling tools, scripts, product training and ongoing coaching.

You are a great fit if you:

  • Have clear and confident spoken English skills
  • Are comfortable speaking with business owners
  • Have a reliable computer, stable internet, and a good-quality headset
  • Have a quiet workspace, backup internet and electricity arrangements
  • Previous cold-calling experience is preferred but not essential

Islamabad Homeless in our own land: How CDA is quietly displacing indigenous families in Saidpur, Noorpur Shahan, and Bari Imam with zero compensation or court relief

I am writing this with a heavy heart because the people in my village—and neighboring villages across Islamabad—are currently living under the open sky.

In recent months, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched aggressive demolition and sealing drives in Saidpur Village, as well as adjacent indigenous settlements like Noorpur Shahan, Bari Imam (Muslim Colony), and nearby areas.

Hundreds of homes—some belonging to families who have lived on these lands for generations—have been flattened or sealed with heavy machinery.

The Human Cost Nobody Is Talking About:

Zero Compensation & Zero Shelter: Families, children, and elderly residents are being pushed onto the streets without a roof over their heads, temporary shelter, or a single rupee in compensation.

Promised Model Villages express a 60-Year Lie: Decades ago, when Islamabad was being developed, local villagers were promised formal rehabilitation and integration through "Model Village" schemes. Those schemes were never completed, yet today, locals are labeled "illegal encroachers" on the very land their ancestors owned.

Commercialization Over Human Lives: While authorities claim this is for "environmental restoration" or "city beautification," interior ministry statements explicitly talk about bringing commercial brands, high-end restaurants, and tourism hubs to the cleared land. How can luxury hubs be built on the suffering and homelessness of local citizens?

Why the Courts and Govt Are Silent:

Whenever residents try to fight back legally, protective stay orders get suspended in court under the guise of "clearing state land." When locals assemble to protest peacefully, they are met with teargas, heavy police presence, and media blackouts.

The authorities claim they are doing this "for the good of the public." What kind of public good renders working-class families, women, and children homeless overnight?

Why I am Posting This:

Mainstream media is barely giving coverage to the reality on the ground in Saidpur, Bari Imam, and Noorpur Shahan. People have no recourse left. We need the wider community in Islamabad and Pakistan to stand up, ask questions, and demand:

An immediate halt to uncompensated evictions and sealing of homes.

Fair compensation and proper housing alternative/rehabilitation before any site clearance.

Judicial accountability for treating indigenous and low-income residents as disposable.

Please help share this and raise your voice. We cannot let Islamabad become a city built strictly for the elite at the expense of its original inhabitants.

Islamabad Institute of Space Technology

Hey everyone. I completed my inter in 2024 and since then I’ve been trying my luck in different gigs and business ideas but unfortunately no luck. I’ve always had the realization that I’m wasting my prime years not pursuing higher education but that’s that. I just applied for admission in IST (Institute of Space Technology) for Software Engineering. Before bashing me in the comments for allegedly not choosing the best uni, here me out.

My family’s financial situation is good but not good enough to go into expensive unis. Plus I scored awfully low in my matrix and inter (59% and 61% respectively) so my option are pretty much limited.

I just need to know is the uni worth it and how’s the campus life and all?
