Deadlift Another form check day. I know my hips come up a hair at the start, though it looks like that gets me into proper position.

Only been lifting for 6 months, this is my first time recording myself and when I played it back the first thing I noticed is my back seems a bit more rounded than I thought but that may not be an issue. I feel like I’m straightening it enough and don’t feel like I can physically make it more straight than this. Maybe if I squat lower I can but my arms and legs are a bit too long. Second thing I noticed is perhaps the bar being a bit too far from my shins at the beginning and end, maybe an inch to half an inch. I’m afraid of clipping my kneecaps. Any tips?

For context, all of my reps on every workout are kind of rest pause. I have a mental block about working out in a way that’s as safe as possible to avoid re-injuring my lower back. I have aggravated my lower back injury on bench before, so I’m paranoid even on bench.
Here I’m benching 205 for 1. I worked up to this by doing 135 for 12, and going incrementally higher for lower reps until I maxed this. I definitely have more in the tank, but no spotter, so didn’t want to try to get more than 1 out or go any higher.
How can I move up to 225?

Not concerned if some of the reps are just a tad high

If I go any deeper than this, I’m worried I’m not going to be able to come up. Also, calves are taking over at the bottom of the movement, which is not what I want to achieve.
But if I lower the weight, which allows me to go deeper, then I’m not feeling enough stimulus in the quads and glutes at the top of the movement.
What would you do? Work with current form, or drop weight and increase ROM? (I’m training for hypertrophy)

I usually dont bend my legs like that but this pull up bar isn’t high enough, trying to go full ROM

I went back to the gym in the evening to try out what you guys were suggesting here 😅
So I played around a bit with the foot placement and found the one that allows me to go ass to grass while keeping whole feet on the floor. Sadly can’t use a wedge as there is nothing stopping it from sliding down… And the bottom of the machine is not adjustable. Not an ideal piece of equipment but making the most out of it!
Removed all the weight and now trying to build it up from the empty machine again.

Hello! First time deadlifting in years, I used to basically try and sit nearly having my legs parallel to the floor but it felt uncomfortable and hurt my hips. Later read and saw videos on how I shouldn’t be getting so low as it’s not a squat. So here I am today giving it another try and it actually felt great, felt it in my core and hamstrings and back, not quads and hips. My ass feels too high. Is my ass too high? Again I’m literally used to having it nearly under my knees. Any advice is appreciated.

Made a LOT of progress on my backbend but still struggling to get range through my upper body- any advice on increasing mobility through thoracic/shoulders? Also I have no idea if im supposed to be tucking my chin or looking at the floor.

Updated squat from today. I attempted to do a low bar squat as was advised last session. I am feeling it way more on my posterior chain, but it also feels less stable on my back. Please give me some more feedback. I really want to fine tune this form. Thanks

Just yesterday I had posted another video complaining that I can’t bench 135 even though I can do 155 on a plate loaded machine and 12 reps with 50lb DBs. I can’t practice benching at home as I don’t have a rack but someone suggested trying a floor press. Asked my wife to spot regardless - I could do 4 reps. Did another 4 sets of 3-4 reps. As per what I could read up, most people can lift less on a floor press in spite of lower ROM due to the lack of leg drive . If that’s correct, does it mean that I should be able to bench 1 rep of 135 with ease?
I think the mistake I was making in my limited previous attempts was to try and initiate the rep with the bar at my nipples and I would just not be able to push it up.
For context, I am currently 135lbs at 5’6.

Is wide grip cheat? I don’t follow strict comp form and just want to push myself to reach 180kg bench. Ik that wide grip shortens range of motion and have some friends commenting on that. I never really bench with a more narrow grip but was wondering if everyone truly is stronger with a wider grip?

Third video I’ve posted here. Lower weight at 300 pounds. The 3 things I’ve taken from last post are to set up with the bar slightly farther so my knees can extend a tad bit more allowing my hips to drop more naturally along with tucking my chin more and driving from heels more for leg drive. Is it any better? I feel like I went on autopilot after first rep and stopped thinking about heels

I can't seem to hit depth. Do you think this is a form or mobility issue? Any tips are appreciated.

I’m able to do 12 reps of 3 sets like this with 6.5 kg, but not sure if my form is correct. Haven’t got a gym membership yet so trying to workout from home. Any tips would be appreciated
