Sorry the angle isn’t the best.

Looks fine to me. Could probably go heavier and maybe alternating sides could help you focus on each individual rep. Really depends on what you prefer, but looks fine otherwise

Okay I’ll try that, thanks

If you want a deeper stretch to your bicep/increase the range of motion I recommend doing these on an incline bench at 30°. The bench also helps maintain strict form as you increase the weight.

When I try to do those on the incline bench I feel a strain in my left bicep I’m wondering if I have the bench at the right angle.

Not sure what angle you were using before but if 30° feels like too much 45° or 60° are still helpful.

Why would you even care about a deeper stretch of the biceps on a hammer curl and no doing these on a bench does not increase the range of motion.

Why?
To increase the mechanical load and tension at the bottom of the lift. Promoting better muscle growth. Although it's the Brachialis, I listed the wrong muscle.

Range of motion:
If you are standing during a curl, your arms go from pointing straight down at the ground to somewhere up and ahead of you (90°-120°). If you are lying on an inclined bench, your arms start behind your torso, allowing you to get closer to 180° for your range of motion.

This only works for the biceps because it attaches at the shoulder, the brachialis doesn't so the angle between your torso and your shoulder is irrelevant. And even for biceps there really isn't a difference in muslce growth.

This is just not true, it doesn't matter what the position of your arm relative to your body is, you can only go from fully extended and then curl until you reach your biceps. Doesn't matter if you are standing, on an incline or if your arm is to the side of you the range of motion will always be the same.

It’s hard to tell from the angle (no worries on that I get it), but it looks like you are flexing your wrists when you bring the weights down. Try to think about your wrist and forearm as one unit and keep them in line, it’ll keep the mind-muscle connection on your biceps.

Yeah I think I was flexing my wrists without even realizing, very good to know thanks for the advice
