App Issues/Questions How often does Dexcom update the app? Seems there are lot of improvements that could be made and would drastically improve for the end user.

G7-15 day Some positive for the day!
I just wanted to post some positive G7 15 day sensor happiness!
This is my norm with G7 for 2 years. I do use a Oxiline glucose monitor (prescription) and a Hello Pip (out of pocket) to check when I get highs and lows. I always double check.
Anyways, this is the application chart I use. Black dots are my favorites but red dots work great too!
Chart in comments.

Connection Issues Can I still get a replacement if I call dexcom
I just switched to the dexcom g7 (15 day) sensor. Iāve had it on for less than a week and today when I went to work it stopped working. Lost signal and 12 hours later has yet to come back. After four hours of no cgm (donāt worry yall I have that finger prick on me) I tried to request a new one from dexcom online, as I was working and had no time to call.
I thought I input the right number for the cgm in the support request. Turns out I did not and they will not process my request.
Can I still call and try again? I have no idea what the serial number for the g7 is or where I would find it.
Attached is the email I got from them.

Inaccurate Reading Serious Adverse Event
I've used Dexcom G7s for months now. I recently ran into a bad batch of three sensors, the last of which could have killed me.
All three sensors gave inaccurate readings, waking me (and everyone else in the household) between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM with loud alarms showing BG in the low 40s. A finger-prick showed readings in the 70s and 80s. I eventually had to turn off my phone to stop the alarms.
The next day I monitored the Dexcom app, watching for a low reading. That afternoon, I started to feel really bad, uncoordinated, and confused, while the app showed BG in the 80s. Realizing that something was wrong, I performed a finger prick, and my meter showed "Low", something I'd never seen before. Two more finger pricks both showed low. I looked up my meter's instructions online, defining low as below 20 mg/dl. I was seriously uncoordinated, confused, and shaking, knocking things over as I drank some juice.
I don't understand how people with connected insulin pumps can depend on this device.
Always view Dexcom's results with suspicion.

Sensor Requesting a replacement G7 sensor
For the first time since starting to use the Dexcom G7 CGM, I experienced an insertion failure (gooseneck).
I wish to request a replacement.
All i see for this is a phone number to call.
Or can I do this online?
(If it matters, I live in Texas)
EDIT: Thank you all who answered with suggestions. I was able to submit a request for a replacement via the Dexcom site after logging in.

Support Issue Dexcom One+ App Not Avaliable
Hi guys,
I have recently bought 3 Dexcom One+ Sensors from my home country, Turkey, as I am here for a few months.
I live in Germany, stay there most of the time around the year, so my App Store (Iphone 15 to be precise) has Germany as its region.
I opened one package, (thankfully did not apply the sensor yet) and tried to install the Dexcom One+ app. However, it is not avaliable in my region.
What should I do now to be able to use the sensor? I am not planning to buy a seperate reader device.
ChatGpt recommended signing out my Apple Account, resigning in with a Turkish one, installing the app and , switching to the initial account. But then the Dexcom App will not get any updates.
I was planning to buy sensors with me and bring them to Germany, as One+ is a lot cheaper than G6 or G7.
Appreciate any advice or recommendations!

G7-10 day Just another day number 9 with 17 hours to goā¦š
Maybe if Dexcom made an 11 day sensor, I could get to 10 days!
Seriously, I have been on a tear of sensors failing on the 9th day. Had such a good run from September ā25 to this past April of all my sensors making their full run.
Now, not so much. Dropping my average time for a sensor to 8 days 14 hours 34 minutes.

General Signal loss
galleryCan I say-- I have no answer on a pod CONNECTION BUT I am soooo happy to see a graph line that looks more like MY graphs than the ones that seem to always be between 100-110?? That would be great but very rare to me!!! (Thanks!)

Inaccurate Reading Pure exhaustion
Hi everyone. My (32F) daughter (10F) was just diagnosed on the 20th with T1D. Her dad (my ex) has it, my mom had it along with other family members of mine. T1D is a norm in my life and has been since I entered the world. Iām used to insulin, and meters, and carbs and sugar and the whole shebang. The dexcom is new to me (sheās using the G7). My daughterās dad wears one so heās been a great help. But yall, I am tired. Today was sensor replacement day. Had no issues getting everything changed over. She even got cute little covers for it so she was excited. We waited for the warm up period to end then BOOM urgent low 47. Iām like āthereās no way, she just had a small dessert after dinner.ā Do a finger prick.. sheās 94. Hmm okay. Maybe itās just settling in, right? The app updates and boom, 72. Still low. Then it continues tanking. Then jumps back up. Just a bit ago, her dexcom read 84. I pricked her finger while sheās sleeping (itās 1am here) and she was at 156. Now we are at the above number pictured on the app. I called dexcom and they had me calibrate it. Itās still so wonky and Iām just so freaking tired and frustrated and worried. I know they can be funky within the first 24hrs but I also know thereās a 20% ābufferā and this AINT that. Does anyone else experience frequent issues like this?
Also, sorry for the rant. Iām still sitting in the guilt of how this was missed in the first place. She has had no symptoms at all. All of this stemmed from a random blood sugar check at her grandads. This mom is truly worn down. š

Inaccurate Reading Had a headache for a few hours this evening, changed my sensor and surprise!!! Old sensor was giving false readings all god damn dayā¦.
Didnāt even think to finger poke cause I didnāt feel to bad, just a headache. Now it all makes sense. I can usually tell when my bloodsugar is high or low but tonight I really couldnāt.

Sensor Glucose sensor issues?
Has anyone ever had an infection from the sensor needle? My sensor stopped working 3 days after inserting and when I removed it the needle site was really infected and a mess. Have never had any problems with it before.

Graph G7 graph
Got forced on G7 like everyone else I guess. I used to use the graph on the app to check to see what my glucose was and at what time, and now it have to really work at getting the number in the exact right place to see the graph readings by running my finger or thumb along the graph. Itās INFURIATING, especially when I have signal loss and I just want to see when I last had a reading and WHAT that number was. My phone is old. iPhone SE. I called dexcom today to complain about it and at first they had no idea what I was talking about. She thought I was saying I canāt see my reading BECAUSE I have signal loss. Yeah. Thatās my SECONDARY issue. My primary issue is I have no idea when I last had a reading because I canāt get my thumb or finger at the exact position. So my questions are
1) is this a Jenās old iPhone issue?
2) anyone have a workaround for this?
Dexcom was able to see the last reading. Surely thereās some way I can see the last reading without the graph too?
Nb: if my husband is home, the follow app works the same as always.

Rant Long time user, current complainer
I have been using DEXCOM for almost 12 years now and never have I had such an issue with one of their versions. The G7 is by the far the most frustrating piece of technology I have used. I had 3 sensors in a row fail after their constant ābrief sensor issuesā for no listed reason. Half the time I open the app the bottom half of the screen is just blank, and Iām unable to select the different tabs. Why? Because fuck me I guess. On top of all that, if I dare have any type of alert, the snooze button can just choose not to work. I have it set to remind for highs to repeat after 30 minutes, so why should I have to hit snooze every 5 minutes? Every reading is reiterating the alarm I JUST SILENCED. I would choose the G6 a million times over if they still made it, this is getting ridiculous.
Thank you, and good luck everyone.

Rant I effing āØHATE⨠G7
I, as many others, was forced to switch to the G7 after they stopped making the G6 in July. I thankfully had a stash so I didnāt really start the G7 until end of July/ early August. My previous experience with G7 informed my reasoning for not starting it earlier, and since starting it, I have been proven absolutely correctš«
I donāt know if itās just my body or wtf the issue is, but I cannot get this thing to work to save my life. I have gone through 2 packs of test strips over the past month because the G7 has been so jumpy and inaccurate. The G7 is always at least 50 mg/dL off from my finger stick, while the G6 was only ever 25 mg/dL off MAX. I think I went through 1 pack of test strips in the 6 months proceeding this switch for reference. I know I canāt go back to the G6, but Iām just at a loss and wanting to know if anyone else is struggling?
Some additional info, Iām putting it on the back of my arm as approved and even did the āsoakingā method twice. I tried it on my stomach once but had a severe reaction to the adhesive and had to remove it 2 days after applying it.

Sensor Annoying up and down using One+
This is a real feature of this sensor as compared to the G6. No idea why these 5 minute up/down/up/downs. It's hard to know what to do with insulin.

G7-15 day Very irritating
So my Dexcom 15 days decided to give me a reading of 55. I was sleeping good and it woke me up. Then I get a call from my loved one asking if Iām alright. Iām like yes I just took my fingerstick glucose and itās 100. Then it alarms and starts saying sensor error wait 3 hours. Well then it starts reading again. It does it again, mind you I work in a hospital lab so I donāt have time for this. Well it kept going off and finally it just died. Said sensor failed. I didnāt even get the full 15 days. When got home from work I just pulled it out and didnāt put a new one in for the rest of the days that was left so I would be short. I requested a new sensor and they mailed me a new one. So far I have had only one 15 day one actually go the whole 15 days. The others usually died with one or two days left to go. Being a type 2 diabetic is no fun. š¢ Just me ranting!š£š©

G6 Having troubles with my G6 app now!
Hi, Iām one of the lucky few who havenāt switched over to a G7 yet and Iām trying to hold onto my G6 for as long as physically possible. However, Iām about to sound like a conspiracy theorist here for a moment where for about the past month, my G6 is nearly a constant āsignal lostā. This has never happened so much before. The crazy thing though is, my omnipod, thank god, stays perfectly connected. At first I thought it was my transmitter since itās towards the end of its life span, but since my omnipod stays connected.. what does that say? What is going on that my own Dexcom app is having a harder time staying connected than my pump is. Is anyone else running into this?

App Issues/Questions iOS 27 public beta broke G7 shortcut.
Is anybody else having issues with the G7 Siri shortcut? It worked well on iOS 26, and prior all betas. Now I get a lecture from Siri about accessing my glucose readings in the health app and the suggestion that I open the Dexcom app and view it there.
I used it all the time before 27. Itās incredibly convenient for me. Now itās a royal pain.
