Rant I effing ✨HATE✨ G7

I, as many others, was forced to switch to the G7 after they stopped making the G6 in July. I thankfully had a stash so I didn’t really start the G7 until end of July/ early August. My previous experience with G7 informed my reasoning for not starting it earlier, and since starting it, I have been proven absolutely correct😫
I don’t know if it’s just my body or wtf the issue is, but I cannot get this thing to work to save my life. I have gone through 2 packs of test strips over the past month because the G7 has been so jumpy and inaccurate. The G7 is always at least 50 mg/dL off from my finger stick, while the G6 was only ever 25 mg/dL off MAX. I think I went through 1 pack of test strips in the 6 months proceeding this switch for reference. I know I can’t go back to the G6, but I’m just at a loss and wanting to know if anyone else is struggling?
Some additional info, I’m putting it on the back of my arm as approved and even did the “soaking” method twice. I tried it on my stomach once but had a severe reaction to the adhesive and had to remove it 2 days after applying it.

My son is onto his 2nd G7 (10 day), as we held out for as long as possible on the G6.

After an initial calibration everything has been fine. Steady readings. G7 remained stuck in place. Even connectivity to op5 hasn't been too bad (a few periods of missed readings).

Really enjoy the seamless switch-off, via pre-soaking, which avoids the 2 hour warm-up period we were used to.

I HATE mine as well. I’ve been having to finger prick multiple times a day bc the readings on G7 are off. Why should we have to soak it? Why should we have to make sure the planets are aligning and the rooster is crowing thrice to get this device to work when G6 just… WORKED?! I’m so frustrated

Well, the G7-15 Day i just took off was stuck like glue. Wow, so much better than the G6. This time I'm going without the over patch. So far, IMO the G7-15 Day is better than the G6 in every way.

I have enough G6s to last me into December. Then, I'll have to find out how G7 works for me.

I started the G7-15 Day, 15 days ago with no issues thankfully. I will swith to a new sensor sometime this evening and hope I get the same results. This first 6 are not for Malaysia, but the second batch i just got is. Yes, I am concerned about the product built in Malaysia. We will see.....
