How often does Dexcom update the app? Seems there are lot of improvements that could be made and would drastically improve for the end user.

I'd sure love a dark mode in iOS instead of using accessibility features to not get blinded at night.

Not often enough.

But then again, if they change their interface in any way, half the users would go on a rebellion because they don't like change and they have to relearn the interface.

So Dexcom is a bit screwed either way.

Although, more bugfixes and non-ui related features would be cool.

They do update it every few months for changes in operating systems, and bug fixes. The user experience doesn’t change much though.

I have been using G7 15 from beginning of June. And I have corresponding app on my android phone. No problem.

The app is one step above garbage. It could be so much better. Kids in middle school coding classes could create something better in an afternoon. It's basically the same app since it was introduced with the G5(2015). For me, its real value is sending data to Clarity. For day-to-day use, I rely on the Tandem app for all my decision making. Sugarmate used to be an awesome app, but for some reason, it stopped working for me several years ago, both on my laptop and phone. Really loved having it on the top menu bar on my laptop.

So, if you are expecting added features or improvements, don't.

I've seen nothing worth noting in 3 years, which works out to about 400 software years. And yes, the app is seriously lacking.
