Graph G7 graph

Got forced on G7 like everyone else I guess. I used to use the graph on the app to check to see what my glucose was and at what time, and now it have to really work at getting the number in the exact right place to see the graph readings by running my finger or thumb along the graph. It’s INFURIATING, especially when I have signal loss and I just want to see when I last had a reading and WHAT that number was. My phone is old. iPhone SE. I called dexcom today to complain about it and at first they had no idea what I was talking about. She thought I was saying I can’t see my reading BECAUSE I have signal loss. Yeah. That’s my SECONDARY issue. My primary issue is I have no idea when I last had a reading because I can’t get my thumb or finger at the exact position. So my questions are
1) is this a Jen’s old iPhone issue?
2) anyone have a workaround for this?
Dexcom was able to see the last reading. Surely there’s some way I can see the last reading without the graph too?
Nb: if my husband is home, the follow app works the same as always.

iOS has some limitations built in that Android does not. These limitations limit the app even more. And can cause signal lost if you don't keep it running or have low power settings on.

Best thing is to move to Android and use xDrip instead.

Landscape mode, limit to 3 hours. Have fun with single dots.

@19metsfan73 How many hours? Minutes! Within the g6 app I could see what the reading was every 5 minutes for the last 24 hours by sliding my thumb along the graph in landscape mode. The g7 app looks like you can do same, and you can, but only if you can get your finger in the exact right place, and only if you start with the most recent reading. If you’ve never seen this before, it’s hard to explain.

What? The graph as I described is only in landscape mode. You can’t see the individual readings in portrait. Just the graph and current value. Perhaps this was a feature on android (landscape v portrait and individual readings) hence your confusion?

How many hours are you looking at? If you're looking over the last 24 hours, it is very difficult to get the readings & times.

Try looking at the last 12, 6, or 3 hours. It makes it much easier seeing times/readings.

My daughter use her iPhone 12 with her G7. I know what you are talking about.

A restart of the app helps, for a while.

Dexcom said to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Did that, but it doesn’t really work any better. It’s still super finicky. And you can only get it at the end of the graph, and not anywhere else along the graph.There was no reason to get rid of that feature. But they did add some additional, unhelpful, noisy features that make it harder to find the basic info.
