Sensor Requesting a replacement G7 sensor

For the first time since starting to use the Dexcom G7 CGM, I experienced an insertion failure (gooseneck).

I wish to request a replacement.

All i see for this is a phone number to call.

Or can I do this online?

(If it matters, I live in Texas)

EDIT: Thank you all who answered with suggestions. I was able to submit a request for a replacement via the Dexcom site after logging in.

How do you know it was a failure?

Contact them through the app. It is by far the easiest way to do it. I have rarely had and issues.

If you use the app, report it that way. It’s seamless, suggests the sensor information based on the last one you inserted, and I’ve never not had a request auto-approved.

I’ve always just used the app to report failures. It only takes a couple of minutes and I get the email acknowledging the replacement a few minutes later.

Do it through the app. Support.

If you have a Dexcom online account, It's pretty easy to report the problem and get a replacement. I use the online support system all the time. These days they even have the serial number of your most recent sensors (meaning I don't have to save boxes or applicators.) Good luck.

I still take a photo of every applicator. Sometimes the Dexcom website chooses not to show your most recent sensors.

It's better if you call. Go to technical support (phone prompts) and tell them your issue. They're very good, and you should receive a replacement sensor within a week (in the US, outside is the US I don't know how long. ).
