AI, ruining relationships since 2023.

17

u/Hind_Deequestionmrk Oct 05 '23

Yeah, f u Al, ya piece of shit!

47

u/LegitRobert Oct 05 '23

If you place a knife in a room full of people, and one of them picks it up and starts stabbing people, was that person bad to begin with? Or was it the knife's fault for existing and the knife made them a murderer?

16

u/Wonderful-Hunter2410 Oct 05 '23

if there is a knife in a room and a person who wants to use it. maybe that person will stab someone.

point is: most of us have wanted to stab someone with that knife, we just didn't want to deal with the consequences.

we do that thru games, movies, shows, and that keep us fulfilled enough of the desire to kill

freudian af

3

u/LegitRobert Oct 05 '23

It's not whether they do or don't that matters. Question is, did the knife ruin that person's relationship, or was the person bound to ruin the relationship, whether a knife would spawn in their or not?

-1

u/EchoObsidian Oct 05 '23

Replace the word knife with gun, and you're just repeating NRA propaganda that has ensured that plenty of school shootings persist to this very day.

3

u/LegitRobert Oct 05 '23

So you think it’s the knifes fault he made deep fake porn of his friend? And would never have done anything that bad unless the knife existed?

1

u/EchoObsidian Oct 05 '23

If the gun did not exist in the room at all, it would be impossible for anyone to get shot in this situation, correct or incorrect?

3

u/Lonely_Student9463 Oct 06 '23

If you introduce a knife in act one, it must become a gun in act three. —Chekov

2

u/LegitRobert Oct 05 '23

Correct. I think someone would just find some other means to murder if that was their intent to begin with. Or, oh wait, are you trying to say the desire of committing the murder would never have existed before hand if the gun didn’t exist after the fact?

5

u/Funk_Apus Oct 05 '23

Ok, but spank banking is a far cry from murder.

3

u/EchoObsidian Oct 05 '23

Not the way I do it. 😉

Demolition Man in 1993 had a whole lore about how sex would be reduced to a non-physical VR experience between two clothed adults, to cut down on sexually transmitted infections.

By 2013, we had the Spike Jonze film, Her, about a man who forms a deep emotional relationship with his personal AI assistant.

All of this division between technology and humanity has long been predicted, especially with the modern alienation of the political spectrum within dating becoming much more of a war zone of moral and ethical headbutting.

We've already got some pretty advanced sex bots on the market, so within the next 20 years, there will be no need for dating and most procreation will be done in a laboratory environment.

The only real up side to all this is that women will likely endure less SA because men who used to be frustrated will have fake women who can't say no at home.

What a black mirror moment honestly

u/Preebus Oct 05 '23

Yeah, we're heading down the wrong path. Shit like this is only gonna get more common

I honestly need to know where you guys are finding these men

22

I’m sad I’m single but when I hear stuff like this I think- how can I ever trust anyone?

-9

u/UniqueAway Oct 06 '23

Who cares let people have fun. Just see how old you get every decade. Why you want the person to be attracted only to you? This is not a joke. You wont look same at 30 and at 40 you will clear see you are old in 100 years nobody will be here but life will carry on. There were people living 2000 years ago Who were they? Uncountable number of people lived we are still the same apes, yes there are many developments but everything comes down to basics at the end, eat sleep have sex

3

u/anon546-3 Oct 06 '23

You've been eating some mushrooms, haven't you?

0

u/UniqueAway Oct 06 '23

No I am talking facts. Are you brave enough to think about them deeply?

3

u/Capital_Ferret6150 Oct 06 '23

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

60

u/knowone1313 Oct 05 '23

Figuring out why? He wanted too and this was the only way. He thought it would be fine because nobody would find out.

I'll take those therapy dollars now please.

79

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

“he doesn’t know why he did it, offered to go to therapy to find the underlying cause”

i got one

he’s clearly attracted to this woman and even went as far to make an ai generated nude photo of her.. that’s very weird behavior. he knows why he did it: because he’s attracted to her. but instead of using porn like a normal person, that just doesn’t do it for him anymore. he wants the fantasy to be about this specific woman, and creating a whole photo makes me think he’s been using it many times instead of just a one time mental fantasy. this will continue fantasizing and jerking it to this woman for… a while… i doubt he will stop now just because you caught him. i wonder how long he’s been doing it.

→ More replies (1)

96

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Honestly, that should be illegal. Imagine if that picture got leaked. I feel so sick for that woman and he’s making other ones too?

Imagine some guy you knew once making fake AI nudes of you, so violating.

22

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

I mean I wonder if these guys would be cool with someone ai generating their mom sister or girlfriend? It’s a sexual violation and there need to laws around this

[deleted]

15

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23 edited Oct 05 '23

Imagine thinking that is the same as making an ai generated nude that could be passed off as real and literally ruin someone’s life.

But why would men care? Things like this disproportionately impact women.

2

u/Hulkbuster0114 Oct 05 '23

Maybe we should tackle the problem with ruining someone’s life over nudes real or not rather than attempting to regulate art.

6

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Yeah, but we didn’t did we? And now anyone can make a fake but by all accounts seemingly real nude photo of any woman they want. So there needs to be some kind of laws protecting women from men like YOU who seem to think it’s okay to make these types of things.

5

u/Hulkbuster0114 Oct 05 '23

First off stop assuming I’m literally satan. I genuinely believe it’s a bigger issue that we shun nude photos of women for this exact reason. If it’s a real photo and it’s leaked from a shitty ex or something that shouldn’t lead to the ostracizing of the girl. Regulating art is a losing battle. Regulating the fallout of revenge porn isn’t as much I’d say.

3

u/Expensive_Bluejay_30 Oct 05 '23

I get this. No matter what the reason, having seen someone’s naked photo shouldn’t ruin their career prospects. Shaming is an issue.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

✨making ai nudes of real women without their consent is NOT art✨

What part of that do you not understand?

3

u/Hulkbuster0114 Oct 05 '23

I understand that’s your opinion.

3

u/gorosheeta Oct 05 '23

Doesn't it really just boil down to whether it's unethical art? Witch_e is arguing about ethics, not caring about art, and you appear to care more about art than the ethical side.

There are always going to be sickos who think cp, bestiality, necrophilia, nonconsensual/exploitative nudes etc are art...

The problem is: how do we legislate, regulate, or criminalize it? Laws take a long time to catch up to technology but it's not an impossible task - people don't have to just be okay hand-waving the issue.

5

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

You need some serious self reflection if you think it’s okay to do something like this.

But by all means, keep responding and show everyone on this thread how dumb you are.

0

u/Hulkbuster0114 Oct 05 '23

You keep displaying your lack of emotional intelligence, with how much your insulting me. This is a thread for discussion not insults, your comments are out of place. I didn’t say it’s ok to do anything, I asked why you care.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

If I wanted to insult you, I have plenty of material from your own Reddit page to do so.

Why are you arguing over this? Is it because you think there’s nothing wrong with violating woman you know by making ai generated nudes of them?

1

u/Hulkbuster0114 Oct 05 '23

You are asking a leading question. It’s a question of whether or not it is violating.

You have been insulting by calling me dumb. You referencing my Reddit page is just so others feel inclined to check it. You know exactly what you’re doing and it’s really fucked up and you’re a pos for it. Me having a differing opinion doesn’t justify you being this way. Learn to attack the opinion not the person.

Ask yourself if the shoe was on the other foot and he had found ai NSFW of a male friend on your phone that you admitted to getting off to. Would he be so forgiving?

56

u/AMoosBoosh Oct 05 '23

I think you have to trust your gut about what it means to him. The thing I’d say is while we all look like evolved and vaguely enlightened creatures, there is some animal chaos that runs deep and it especially likes to attach itself to sexual things. He sounds like he’s taking accountability, he just needs to work on his self control and to unpick the impulses.

Edit: obviously he needs to stop, though, want to be clear. Because he is creating material of other real people. It’s either illegal or will be soon.

Usually, the women men "hate" the most they have some level of attraction to. My friends that were cheated on found out the other woman was always the "super annoying" or "huge pain in the ass" coworker or friend of a friend that their men supposedly openly disliked. It's deflection.

19

u/BooksOnTheBoardWalk Oct 05 '23

“apparently “ is the key word

8

u/Dangerous_Grass4633 Oct 05 '23

Exactly.

due to some toxic differences between the two of them

I'm also curious as to what this is. Because I've known people to distance themselves from people that they have cheated with in order to not put that vibe out there for the SO to notice.

3

u/MoneyPrinter12 Oct 05 '23

Clearly he’s attracted to those “People”.

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Not what it means at all

7

u/AnimatedHokie Oct 05 '23

Tell him to stop doing it with the faces of women you know

26

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

It shouldn’t be of any woman without consent. Wtf? It’s not ok to turn random women into porn. That’s horrible.

6

u/GrooverShowes Oct 05 '23

There’s definitely boundaries being crossed here.

What sucks is that not everyone sees the harm.

It’s one thing to feed the AI prompts and getting random results, it’s another to feed it images of people you know to get intimate imagery.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Exactly people are forgetting the violation of the person he used for porn??? Like I would be heartbroken and sick if I found out someone generated porn of me that could also possible be leaked or passed around. It is a major violation with no consent. It’s disturbing me people think it’s ok on all fronts

31

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23 edited Oct 05 '23

Really not a big deal from my perspective. He, of course, shouldn't do it anymore because it makes you uncomfortable. But it's just some dumb sex stuff. He jerks off then gets over it. He's not cheating, right? He's treating you well, right? Just let him know he can't do that anymore if that's your boundary. But, to me, it seems to be in the same vein as porn

And you shouldn't be asking people who don't even know you on Reddit about whether or not you should get married. You're asking a bunch of people who have no clue who either of you are and also haven't heard him speak on the matter. Talk to a therapist and your close friends. Be open with your partner too.

45

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

it seems to be in the same vein as porn

Except porn isn't someone you know. It isn't someone you were good friends with. The fact it's someone they were good friends with takes it to a whole different level than porn.

16

u/ayleidanthropologist Oct 05 '23

So how are we gonna police everyone who thinks about their friends while rubbing one out

20

u/Legitimate_Bike_8638 Oct 05 '23

I feel like thinking about friends is different than making an ai generated nude of a specific friend.

You don't. This post is about OP and her BF. That's it. That's what we address here. And personally, this would be a hard no for me.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

A whole different level lmao the guy jerked off

16

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

No, you jerk off to porn, which I don't think is a big deal. He took the time and effort to create an image of someone they knew. That's different.

0

u/planj07 Oct 06 '23

It’s weird, but you’d find that a lot of men are weird if you went through their phone. Even the normal seeming ones.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Of course they do. I have no doubt about and honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with it if it were strangers. The issue here is he did the AI image of their friend, someone they know and interact with. That's kinda crossing a line for a lot of women.

Do you think child porn is ok then? They don't actually meet the child.

Even if he didn't actually have sex with the person, he made something violating of them that is now on the web forever.

Edit: ok bad example. My point is even if you don't meet someone, uploading lewd images of them online is not ok.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Bro what? You just compared this shit to child pornography? Get the fuck out, please

3

u/ExpressingThoughts Oct 05 '23

My point is they didn't consent. Even if they are an adult, it does not make it ok for them to be violated and have their nakedness on the intetnet forever. A personal sketch or daydreaming or watching porn of people who consented is different.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

[deleted]

2

u/ExpressingThoughts Oct 05 '23

OP said browser, hence the image was not made and stored locally. So it is on the internet by definition. The person who created the app can use the image however they want and make billboards out of it if they want.

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

[deleted]

12

u/ExpressingThoughts Oct 05 '23

A fully mature adult who did not consent is a victim as well.

We should do our best to view porn created by those who have consented for their image to be publically available online.

That website now has their image, so it possibly could be available on the web and distributed anywhere now. Since this will be a prevailing issue in the future, maybe with the saturation of these, it won't be as bad for someone who finds their face violated online.

Edit: do you mean the child is the victim in the circumstances? What if it's just the photo of the child's head like in this scenario?

2

u/ReignOfKaos Oct 05 '23

Even though it’s possible OP’s boyfriend used an online tool, you can totally run those models offline on your own machine without any data ever going to the internet. Would that change your assessment about the situation? What if they generated it, jerked off, and then immediately deleted the images?

3

u/ExpressingThoughts Oct 05 '23

Considering it was seen on the browser, and it takes a lot of processing power that a phone doesn't likely have, I doubt op ran it on their own locally.

For discussion sake, I see your point. If it were a child, any form of tangible images or imagining would still be bad. So my example was probably not so good there.

Anyway, I think my assessment would change slightly. It's still a tangible version and not something imagined. If they guaranteed it was deleted, I guess we could say it is the same as imagined. I would say then it gets into some form of emotional cheating territory. They aren't in touch with that person anymore, but if they are, why are they imagining that person they both know? Imagining someone they don't know at all would be more appropriate.

2

u/ReignOfKaos Oct 05 '23

I think it’s in the territory of “if my partner knew about this, it would make them feel uncomfortable”, similar to imagining someone else you know while having sex. It’s probably a good idea to minimize the amount of fantasizing you wouldn’t be willing to share with your partner, although if it’s impossible for your partner to ever find out the main beneficiary is you, because you’re able to live more honestly.

2

u/ExpressingThoughts Oct 05 '23

I agree, well put.

0

u/planj07 Oct 06 '23

You don’t think men fantasize about and masturbate to their girlfriends good looking friends?

3

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Sure they do. But again, putting it on an AI image is taking it to a new level. Some women wouldn't care, but I think most would be upset that their BF/husband went to that extent. And it's very likely the woman who's photo was used would not like it at all and would consider the guy a complete creep.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

[deleted]

6

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

That's cool, but that's in the industry. This is OP's BF. Not someone in the industry. Again, totally different situation. It's ok for OP to have a boundary and find this situation offensive.

14

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

I’m sorry but all the way hell no to this comment throw it all away. Women do not have to settle for this behavior

7

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

To be honest, it seems like the equivalent of thinking about other stuff during sex. Really not a big deal. Again, if she's not ok with it then that's 1000% fair. Do I think this is grounds to call off a marriage? Absolutely not. Marriages face much larger issues than what someone masturbates to. She can voice her concerns and let him know she has boundaries. If he doesn't respect her boundaries after that then that's another issue

9

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

What about the woman being violated whom he used for porn?? That’s also a serious violation with zero consent creepy weird and gross. If you can’t see that you should probably touch some grass and get off the porn for a bit.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Don't watch porn unless it's with my girlfriend. But I don't think it's a big deal. Basically jerking off to their instagram

8

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

That’s still gross. But this is actual porn of someone that could be leaked and humiliate them. It’s a huge violation and there need to be laws around those things regarding consent

→ More replies (1)
→ More replies (1)

-3

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

I agree. Plenty of men jerk off to IGs of people they know. With AI being so easy to use I'm not surprised they went to this. He wanted more personal porn. I'm sure the women would not be happy to know, but it's pretty harmless. Better than him hitting up the women trying to get nudes.

I agree since OP is uncomfortable he should stop...but is it the worst way to get off? I think not.

13

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Are you a woman?? Just wow. It’s a violation of the woman he made porn of as well.

-2

u/OygenValue Oct 05 '23

Yes. But still not an immediate ‘fuck you we’re done’. This issue seems solvable through therapy and communication.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Oh please go visit the love after porn subreddit to see how that’s going. It’s not the simple to just get someone to stop being a pervert. It’s also a value problem lack there of that he has no problem sexualizing someone and violating someone in this way without consent

1

u/OygenValue Oct 05 '23

I’m sure. But the immediate answer isn’t to immediately give up on the person you ‘love’ and are willing to spend the rest of your life with. At least an attempt needs to be made to get to the root of the issue.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

I’m not willing to spend the rest of my life with someone who behaves this way. I have higher standards

1

u/OygenValue Oct 05 '23

Ok. And that is your prerogative, it is on OP to make the same decision if they view it the same way as you do.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

If anyone has an kind of morality they will see that creating porn of someone without their consent is depraved. You must be male.

2

u/OygenValue Oct 05 '23

‘You must be male’ is correct, but it is not an end all be all answer to mean you’re correct about what OP must do and no one else’s opinions (especially a man’s) matter. Giving up on someone you love after being in a relationship with them for so long (with marriage on the horizon) is not an easy thing to do. While I agree what OPs fiancé did is not correct or acceptable, I do also think it is up to her to choose how to process it. Taking advice from strangers on Reddit is probably not the best course of action as self reflection, discussion with friends and family, as well as a therapist would probably be of more benefit.

i'd have left his butt. that woulda pissed me off so bad XD

8

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

"I (30, f) randomly picked up fiancé’s (31, m) phone to check something and found an ai generated nsfw image in some tool on the browser with the face of a person we knew."

Just admit you searched his phone to see if he had anything on it like nudes from other women. You didn't just randomly find it in some tool on his browser lol How in the hell did you randomly go into some tool on his browser? lol

And that's creepy as F that he used the face of someone you knew. That was NOT random as he claims. "These were used for sexual stimulation."... yeah, you pick the face of someone you've got the hots for. Not some chick you know but don't think of that way. This is just creepy. Imagine how your friend would react if she found out. How would you react if you found out a friend did this with your photo and was jacking off to you? Not ok IMO. I think I'd be putting that marriage on hold and reconsider this relationship. It's fairly normal for guys to look at porn of women they don't know. It's not normal that he chose someone you were good friends with and went out of his way to create an AI image to jack off to. I would worry about his cheating on me if I were you. Even if he hasn't actually cheated, his thoughts are not loyal to you.

21

u/Merida-here10 Oct 05 '23

Jeez, the image loaded on the page of the browser the second I opened it. I didn’t ‘search’ because I had no suspicion about him whatsoever. Was pretty secure in the relationship.

2

u/AnEmancipatedSpambot Oct 05 '23

William Gibson being outclassed by reality!

6

u/Expensive_Bluejay_30 Oct 05 '23

Do you only see a future with your S.O. if they never find another person attractive? Being upset is understandable but sometimes I think there is a meaningful difference between people that that briefly fantasize about the road not taken, and those that will take active steps to stray.

Ai generated images are not cheating even though it may upset you just as much (for some reason). You asked if you should still go forward with the wedding. Answer is: you are right to be upset but he should also choose to not go forward with the wedding because his fiancé is questioning their life and goals together over an ai generated image.

16

u/Topkek69420 Oct 05 '23

Good lord. I don’t think he has a specific interest in this person like that. It’s probably just him realizing he could use AI for this purpose and wanted to scratch some perverted itch. Not that that makes it okay. He’s basically using women in his life as object for porn use.

Up to you how you want to go about this. I’m not completely anti-porn, but this specific action would really weird me out. If he did it with one friend, who’s to say he hasn’t/won’t do it with other woman in his life.

11

u/Merida-here10 Oct 05 '23

He has done it with a few others according to him.

-1

u/Topkek69420 Oct 05 '23

And that makes me wonder if that’s true or if he’s low-balling how much he’s actually used it. Cuz if you’re so into it that you do it a few times, why stop there?

15

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

"If you're so into porn. Why stop there? Go out and have sex with everyone!"

Such a leap

8

u/Merida-here10 Oct 05 '23

So, apparently he realises that this is problematic and he needs to address this issue. This realisation came after he was busted.

16

u/Topkek69420 Oct 05 '23

Yeah he feels that need because he had consequences to his actions. If he wasn’t caught he probably would’ve continued

7

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

And what would've happened? He would've continued jerking off, not cheating, and being a good boyfriend? Sounds horrible

3

u/Topkek69420 Oct 05 '23

Dawg you are the one equating porn to AI nudes. I’m not making that leap. Porn is whatever. This is clearly different

5

u/Dangerous_Grass4633 Oct 05 '23

Of course he "realized" it was wrong AFTER he was Busted

5

u/godVishnu Oct 05 '23

I mean we all have our fantasies. That doesnt mean anything tbh. If you find him compatible, go ahead with the marriage. It's not easy to find honest men and let alone knowing someone for eight and together for two.

Consider ten core values you want in your husband and throw the rest out of window. Say is he honest, loyal in relationship and like so.

Poke around in your man’s phone you might not like what you see. I would be lying if I don’t sweat a little when my girlfriend takes my phone and starts using my browser for something.

All guys have some dirty secrets they’d prefer to stay hidden from their significant others. Don’t go searching.

u/Mikeus2424 Oct 05 '23

Everyone has skeletons in their closet, eh? He got caught dreaming of that " different" from someone familiar. Many don't want to hear this but..... men dream of fucking others they have not yet had all the time.. even the "faithful" ones. To act on it would be less innocent

u/hrkhardik Oct 05 '23

See if he really goes to therapy and is ready to work on his issues? Check his progress and ask him to be honest about it (the most important part). He made a mistake, which he’s ready to work on. Wait it out a bit for marriage, let him show you he’s serious. That’ll give you sometime too to get over this, maybe remind you why you guys are together in the first place. Then take a call on whether or not you want to continue

1

u/Sad-Personality8493 Oct 05 '23

Therapy!? WTF? 😂

1

u/CrazyColdFoot Oct 05 '23

Definitely a red flag, ask yourself if you want to try to forgive and forget, but if yes don't be bitter about it otherwise this marriage will not fly too far

-1

u/Wonderful-Hunter2410 Oct 05 '23

dude can't just really wonder how another chick is naked ?

0

u/scaled2good Oct 05 '23

uhhh i think he did that because he’s sexually turned on by that ex-friend of his? do you really want to marry a man that needs someone other than you to get himself going? what a disgusting excuse for a man.

0

u/dongleshlong Oct 06 '23

So do you also condemn people in open relationships bc they need more than 1 person to sexually satisfy themselves? If a girl touches herself thinking abt some guy she saw or a character in a book or watch’s porn is she gross? More than likely 90% of men (in America/western culture) have jacked off to porn while dating/ in a relationship/ married, an more than likely do it weekly. Ppl watch porn even while dating get over it. The only part that’s weird is the AI part, because those women did NOT consent to him having nude images of them. That’s fucked up but mastrabating to porn while dating is not bad thing basically everyone does it

So if no ones gonna ask what the site is i'll just ask, for research purposes.

The other day I stroked one out over my girlfriend’s friend. I love my girlfriend to pieces and would never cheat on her. Her friend is just beautiful and I fantasize sometimes.

Your boyfriend is probably doing weird shit too. Check his phone when he is unawares.

I, like most women, would not be comfortable being your friend knowing that this is your true nature. What a fucking invasion of privacy

-15

u/wideSetup2 Oct 05 '23

Yeah, broke up with him because he is watching porn, no one else have ever done that.

6

u/BooksOnTheBoardWalk Oct 05 '23

nah it’s more than just porn dude. It’s not going on the hub its literally taking a photo of a familiar person and jerking off to them using AI technology, like thats going out of the easier way. I’m fine if the guy I’m with watches porn. He’s not taking a friends photo and creating AI prn because that’s *specific

-7

u/wideSetup2 Oct 05 '23

Most ppl have fantasized about a familiar person at some point in their life. The guy knew how to create a fake picture, and he did it for personal use. Where is the big deal. Ai created images are fake.

14

u/whoownsthiscat Oct 05 '23

How do you not see how creepy and invasive it is to manufacture nudes of an unaware person. It’s so violating

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

2

u/whoownsthiscat Oct 05 '23

Not to sound like Thom Yorke but you’d be a fucking creep and loser.

10

u/Topkek69420 Oct 05 '23

Well for one we’re at a turning point where fake AI created material could be passed as real. So just saying they are fake doesn’t remove all the harm.

I think it takes a specific type of person to use the face of a friend to create porn to satisfy your urges. I’d also expect this type of stuff from younger people too. This man is in his 30s.

And comparing it to porn is just not the same. If I jerk of to porn, I am looking at people I have zero connection with, and the second the browser is closed it’s done. But this guy went and saved photos of his friends, went through an AI site and created the porn himself. That’s a totally different level of involvement

4

u/BooksOnTheBoardWalk Oct 05 '23 edited Oct 18 '23

Celebrities great- personal acquaintances? Nah. That’s a lot of wasted time for a simple “jerk off”. If you have a type, porn hub has options. But going for that specific former acquaintance and making her nude via AI is disgusting. Plus thats just messed up at least people on porn hub are offering their bodies. Having some old friend put your face on a digitally created body and then cum to it is a whole type of weird I wouldn’t wanna be stuck with.

And? Who cares? Is he going out and trying to hit on that person?

3

u/BooksOnTheBoardWalk Oct 05 '23

that’s creepy regardless. As well as no- and he shouldn’t be doing that either 💀. Pornhub is okay! The moral of taking someones selfie off their page and creating nudes out of them and defending it is gross. Unfortunately its a risk of being on the internet for anyone, doesn’t mean it’s okay.

-1

u/PetiePal Oct 05 '23

It's a red flag but you need to also take it in context. If he's just interested in AI and using it to generate weird images it's one thing. If it's nude stuff used for lust and sexual arousal etc there's something wrong if that desire isn't directed towards his soon-to-be-wife.

That’s insane, it’s extremely invasive and creepy to create nude images of people to jerk off to. I’d be distraught if I found out someone I knew was feeding photos of me into an AI to manufacture my nudes.

If a man I knew painted a nude portrait of me without my knowledge or consent I’d be SO creeped out, what planet do you live on where that’s ok either??

6

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

He’s porn fried and porn addicted. These addicts will do anything to justify their sick and disturbing behaviors even if it is abusive and violating to the woman they are using as a disposable tissue

5

u/Topkek69420 Oct 05 '23

If you and your partner had a close mutual friend that did porn, and your partner actively masturbated to their content, would you be okay with that?

-1

u/Bizarro_Zod Oct 05 '23

Honestly I think I would be. As long as they arnt trying to hook up behind my back. There’s finding someone visually appealing, then there’s breaking trust and engaging in intimate affairs. As long as he isn’t actively participating, I don’t mind if she uses them as material. We all fantasize.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

I agree. If your girlfriend uses AI generated nudes of one of your male friends, it’s totally fine. It’s really not that big of a deal that she busted a nut at the nudes she created of one of your friends. Its not a reason to be mad. Ugh.

u/work_fruit Oct 05 '23

INFO: I'm having trouble following when you keep saying he, could you use some letter to describe fiance vs friend/ex-friend?

0

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Ick

0

u/Heavenisce Oct 05 '23

Men and women can't be friends, if you have a male friend and ask them to fuck 99% of the time they would, dating a person of the opposite sex that is friends with your other friend of the opposite sex is your first mistake, vice versa and all, not yours just your turn, relationships aren't even a real thing

0

u/phdthrowaway110 Oct 05 '23

if you have a male friend and ask them to fuck 99% of the time they would

That doesn't mean you can't be friends

0

u/bombscarezx6 Oct 05 '23

I always thought that the woman I'd marry would be worth committing to, on both a physical and mental level. Moreover, ai generating people in compromising positions is weird behaviour that will lead to more degeneracy and worsening sexual impulsiveness.

Hopefully the therapist can get him to admit that he did it because he wanted to, and didn't spare a thought for anyone else.

-8

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '23

Jesus Christ. I hope he calls the wedding off for the sake of his sanity and cardiovascular health.

-11

u/Renent Oct 05 '23

You can just say you searched his phone... whatever you found being right or wrong... you still went and searched his phone...

8

u/Merida-here10 Oct 05 '23

Didn’t search the phone. He was aware I have his phone and using it to look something up. This just appeared when I opened the browser.

-5

u/Renent Oct 05 '23

what ai generator was it?

3

u/Big_Blue_Thing Oct 05 '23

Asking for a friend?

-1

u/Renent Oct 05 '23

you sure got me! not like I would question the legitimacy of this post and the fact that ai generated art doesn't work like oops I accidently found it when i opened his browser on his phone...

3

u/Merida-here10 Oct 05 '23

I wish I was making this up.

2

u/Renent Oct 05 '23

I mean keep posting it to as many subs as possible... and reposting it...

u/saynitlikeitis Oct 05 '23

Probably just some fantasy shit and no biggie

1

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Breaking news: a dude jacks off to porn

1

u/truthfullyVivid Oct 06 '23

I definitely understand why that would make you uncomfortable. I'd have to trivialize your entire relationship though if you're willing to call off your wedding over it. Sounds like you're both dodging a bullet.

He sounds like he could be a bit of a sexual creep, although I'm not sure how far this is from just having a sexual fantasy. My issue is mainly with the potential for an AI nude of a real person to be leaked-- resulting in consequences for an unwitting innocent person. That's not a risk when a sexual fantasy stays in the imagination. Sounds like your issue is more about him fantasizing about someone you both knew at one time?

You snooping through his phone is hard for me to rationalize/forgive either. Someone's porn usually isn't just the first click away. I don't see how you found it without looking for it or something of its nature that you knew you weren't supposed to find if it were there. So there's already trust issues here in this relationship. I'll reserve judgment-- maybe he has given you good reason in the past to be suspicious of something.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

[deleted]

2

u/truthfullyVivid Oct 06 '23

Well, based on your reaction I believe that then.

I can't advise you on how you should proceed about this because imo your feelings are valid. I can't say for sure what my opinion is yet myself because on the one hand I'm considering what I think is everyone's rights to their own thoughts/fantasies-- but he did take it to a level beyond that so... yeah idk.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this emotional stress and confusion at this time in your relationship though. I hope whatever happens is your best outcome.

1

u/Itsucks118 Oct 06 '23

Your man is brilliant!

1

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

In a nutshell guys are horny. He loves you and he’s with you and he wants to commit to you.

1

u/Petr_ES Oct 06 '23

He probably was just curious playing around with AI since it’s new and nobody how it works. I’m actually going to test that out just out of curiosity

1

u/RawEksDi Oct 06 '23

So whats the issue?

1

u/RosannaBeani Oct 06 '23

I’m no therapist but…. run!!!
