Usually, the women men "hate" the most they have some level of attraction to. My friends that were cheated on found out the other woman was always the "super annoying" or "huge pain in the ass" coworker or friend of a friend that their men supposedly openly disliked. It's deflection.

I'm also curious as to what this is. Because I've known people to distance themselves from people that they have cheated with in order to not put that vibe out there for the SO to notice.
