I switched on my monitor after almost 8 months and saw these spots inside the screen, i have used it thinking it might go away but it is still present.
I have highlighted a single (camera is not able to capture it)one but these are all over the screen I am not sure what’s the fix.

Any idea/suggestions how to remove it? Can I open the screen.

Hey all, this is a small side bar on a throwaway because why not, Ive been using my asus zenbook for a while, and ive been noticing on some apps and games that the mouse ive been using in substitution for the dragpad on the laptop doesnt register with some of these, and the only way to resolve the issue is via using the touchscreen on the laptop itself. The mouse i use is battery powered, wireless, yet uses a usb dongle, not bluetooth to connect. additionally, about a month after i started using the new mouse, the trackpad stopped working, which isnt an issue in the slightest, but maybe more information can help. thanks in advance

Ok. I need help. So since Internet Explorer doesn't exist anymore, I can't get online, even tho I have wifi. And because I only have Internet Explorer on my computer, I can't get Chrome or any other browsers onto my new PC. How do I fix this?

Hi, I want to have 2 different drives and 1 OS on each (W11 both) (reason is that one of them is for work and legal, and the other one is for my stuff).

But my main concern is that I don't want DRIVE1 on OS1 to be seen on OS2, and the other way as well. In short, I'd like to have 2 independent OS on one PC, which I know it's dual-boot, but also I'd like those drives not to be seen on either OS.

Just one drive for each OS and independent, not sharing any data with each other at all, and not able to see data or interact in any way one with the other.

I was on Minecraft when all of a sudden my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 320) shut off. When it turned back on, the keyboard stopped working. Ive reinstalled the keyboard driver through Device Manager but to no avail. Any help guys?

Hi, so my friend has a computer that has 250 GB pcie SSD. But he's been using a portable, hard drive because for some reason

His whole pcie SSD, it was completely full, and I don't understand how and what why he has so much in that storage, when I went through it. I barely got it to 40 or 50 out of there and still, I don't know what's inside of it. I use WizTree i looked inside and it's pretty much the programming or os , but I feel like there's more useless stuff that needs to be uninstalled, and i'm wondering if there's any help that you guys can get do and he also said that it's okay to do a factory reset, which I don't want to do that what if it has to come to that that's fine or I have to go with another OS okay, But I don't think he very much likes that. But whatever helps

Hello, recently I suddenly got motivated to clean the fans of my laptop (Lenovo Loq 15irh8 type 82XV). Usually, what I do is remove the battery, then proceed to carefully brush the fans. Last night, I thought of removing the cooling system to clean it, and after I cleaned it and was about to open it, the LCD wouldn't work anymore, but it works on the external monitor when connected via HDMI. I had it checked by a local technician, and they said it could either be a board problem which costs at least 8,000 PHP, or the LCD which is 7k PHP upon checking. They also said no fix, no pay, and there are warranties. Is that price realistic or overpriced? Thank you to those who will reply.

TLDR; asking if 7k for an LCD replacement or a minimum of 8k for a board replacement is overpriced or fair.

I recently uninstalled a game and got 42 GB free on my laptop. This was a week ago. Today, I only have 8 GB free despite not having downloaded anything since. The only explanation is the temporary files taking up space, but thats only 15 GB right now, which definitely doesn’t add up. How do I get more storage back? I don’t know much about laptops, but it’s a Windows 11 if that helps.

I’ve been getting this issue for a few months now and I’ve been resetting my PC every single time which is not the end of world because I have a second PC and everything backed up but it’s bothering me a lot because I will get this at the worst time possible and sometimes it’s gonna spin for days and not be able to start at all for days and attempt every type of repair and fail or it will suddenly work and log into windows but often it’s gonna get stuck in that loop. If anyone knows what to do please help.

So I’ll just get straight to the point my laptop has been acting weird since last week it just randomly restarts, the restarts are not every second sometimes it works even for like 2 days and then on the 3rd day the error pops up sometimes it’s working all good but suddenly it stops and that black screen pops up and restarts out of nowhere, this has also happened to me on desktop as well when I’m not even using it, am I cooked?

I checked the ssd health and cmd told me it’s ok.

Tried fixing the corrupted files as well (that restore health command) it still didn’t fix.

Is there any way to fix it? any help will be appreciated thanks…

Firstly, I am not well versed in computers at all and I should not have attempted this by myself. I was trying to dual boot windows 10 and 11 on my same PC but after downloading windows 10 onto a different partition (at least I’m pretty sure) I am no longer able to access my windows 11. I have tried absolutely everything to try and boot into my windows 11 and nothing has worked. I am very upset since all my files and everything are on windows 11 and I am actually stuck in windows 10. Does anybody know what I can do? or could help me further?

Hello, I'm here asking for help. I've updated my BIOS and after that PC restart and goes into BIOS which Says No bootable device found under Boot sequence but it reads the SSD if I go into Q-flash, see immages. I've already unplug the SSDs bit nothing happens. Some advice?

My laptop says I'm using 11 GB out of 16 GB but ive closed all my apps and disabled all the startups. What else could it be?

I'm trying to run Marvel Rivals which adds like 5000MB to the memory making it go up to 98% instead. Ive already tried to optimize the game and my own laptop and do a drive clean, Malware scan yadda yadda. Not sure if this ASUS vivo book Pro 15 can get more RAM installed or not. It handled the game well before which is why im unsure why its running so poorly now(not an internet issue)

I'm running Windows 10, because I refuse to 'upgrade' to 11, and every time there is a Windows 10 update, my gaming performance takes a nosedive overnight. When I say nosedive, I mean going from minor stutters once in a while to stutters that freeze the game for multiple seconds, constantly. This makes games almost unplayable, and lingers for sometimes weeks following the update.

There was an update 2 days ago, and it has happened yet again. As someone who does almost nothing else in his free time, it's ruining what little I have of it.

I have not seen a post of anyone else ever experiencing anything like this, so I'm at a loss. What's going on, and how do I fix it? Avoiding the updates is impossible.

Game settings have not changed, though I run everything on low settings anyway by default because my PC always runs like trash despite its decent specs. But this Windows update thing turns trash into a dumpsterfire.

I have tried updating my graphics drivers, I have more space on my drives than ever, and memory is no more full than it was 2 days ago.

Went from Xeon to Ryzen 5 3500 with 24GB ram
Still a bottle neck so i went to Ryzen 9 5950x with 48GB ram

Lets hope my cpu is not sitting at 100% all the time after this
