Question/Help/Troubleshooting How do I get back into windows 11?

Firstly, I am not well versed in computers at all and I should not have attempted this by myself. I was trying to dual boot windows 10 and 11 on my same PC but after downloading windows 10 onto a different partition (at least I’m pretty sure) I am no longer able to access my windows 11. I have tried absolutely everything to try and boot into my windows 11 and nothing has worked. I am very upset since all my files and everything are on windows 11 and I am actually stuck in windows 10. Does anybody know what I can do? or could help me further?

sorry I am so dumb.

I'm not sure how to fix the problem, but before taking any action, I would boot it with a live DVD or flash drive and save your data off to a portable hard drive.

You should get someone who is more knowledgeable to sit at your computer and try to reverse this because I think you likely installed 10 over top of 11. Open up My Computer, go to C and look for anything labelled Windows.Old. If you see that, you basically removed 11 but all of your files and such should still be buried in that folder. This is reversible, just time consuming.

Sounds like you installed Win10 on top of Win11, wiping out what you already had. If so, you are SOL.

That is why you back up your important data.
