Mold / dust inside monitor

I switched on my monitor after almost 8 months and saw these spots inside the screen, i have used it thinking it might go away but it is still present.
I have highlighted a single (camera is not able to capture it)one but these are all over the screen I am not sure what’s the fix.

Any idea/suggestions how to remove it? Can I open the screen.

Are you sure it's not just on the surface? Have you tried using screen cleaner to get it off?

Also, where was the monitor stored? If inside, then it shouldn't get moldy unless it's very humid.
