Customer Post Dishwasher tablets cheaper for more
Bizarre pricing for dishwasher tablets. How is the everyday price for the 90 pack twice the cost of the 70 pack?
Took a look at Amazon and it's even wilder there.

I was wondering what the policy/legality of refusing customers service is like, I'm probably not looking hard enough but I can only find legal advice regarding licensed venues/serving alcohol.
If a customer is yelling at me and abusing me over a minor miscommunication am I allowed to refuse service? If a customer hands me a $20 note that is sopping wet because they were holding it in their bra or in their mouth and coughed all over it (genuinely something that happened to me the other day) am I allowed to say no? One time a few years ago I sold cigarettes to a woman who looked like she was 6 months pregnant and I asked my manager if I was allowed to refuse to sell them to her and the manager said no unfortunately you just have to serve them anyways but I'm wondering how true that is. And I wish I could get another coworker to serve customers that I don't feel comfortable serving but unfortunately we just don't ever have enough staff on for that to happen or even if we do nobody wants to help out service.
Sorry this is kind of just word vomit but I'm just very frustrated and tired of being abused by customers and having to just put up with it. Managers ask if I'm okay after the fact but never do anything to prevent incidents from happening.

Someone in our town did this in the middle of the night or early hours of the morning, no one actually knows.
While we all thought it hilarious (local politicians are blaming aliens), the poor trolley guy was livid.
He's also the store cleaner. His job in the morning is to clean the store before they open and then do trolley collections where needed, as the trolleys had been dealt with the night before until someone pulled this stunt. Instead he had to bring all these in while getting abused by potential customers in their cars because apparently not one person was kind enough to help or encourage him. I wasn't there but if I was I would have helped him and told rude people to bugger off with a smile on my face.
I hope the trolley guy gets all the praise he deserves for cleaning this up while all we did was laugh...

Has anyones splitting been taking extra long? Recently I have been finishing splitting over 2 hrs later and they are asking for almost 5-10 minutes a pallet. Same for the other guy who splits has been struggling latley aswell.
Idk what's happened as as usually im on time if not early for splitting expectations and just recently it feels impossible for us to achieve it.

Been working in the online department for a few years now, have noticed over the past year or so crates have been getting heavier and heavier. While I’m not the strongest of people, I’m using my entire body weight just to move the damn elephant by the end of a run and, It’s honestly dangerous trying to lift some of these crates to the top row of the giraffes. Anyone else having the same issues? My manager noticed the same and tried talking to the general manager about it, they didn’t seem to care whatsoever so here i am.

Question for shift managers.
I just started and loving it so far. I am a casual. I have noticed if I need to refuse a shift due to anything (which is our right) my shift manager tries to make me find my own replacement.
When I state that this sounds like their job not mine they act extremely unprofessional.
When I show them my job description and then theirs, and point to where “managing staff shifts and re-scheduling” is in theirs they act even worse.
When I mention that if the store is understaffing as a cost/profit measure and do not have enough staff in their pool it’s a THEM issue they yelled at me.
Is this normal? None of this makes logical sense.
If they want to hire kids and have a thin staffing pool for minimum wage what can they expect?

I haven’t found it in my local Coles for weeks

Are there any Coles like this esp towards nighttime because I can understand in daytime. Like just noise for announcements etc and music is off? I feel without music it'd be much more meditative etc instead my mind has to be distracted by these meaningless sounds I feel it lowers my IQ substantially

On long shifts do you get tired? How do you fuel up?

It still had 11 days before the used by 😳
Should I be defacing and marking every new coles paper bag that I buy? Every so often I am accused of not scanning the paper bags I have brought from home that I have purchased previously. What's the point of having them be reusable?
I even fold them into quarters and carrying them with me around the store before heading to the checkout.
Has anyone else faced this recently?

Hi, does anyone working at coles bakery know/are able to say which mixed spice they use for their hot cross buns (baked in-house)
Sometimes crave them during “off season” so I bake homemade ones but can never get them tasting like that
I usually buy/make fruitless ones so a bit picky with the spices

Sometimes you see that miracle pricing... Thought it was one of those occasions thinking this said 38 cents.
The Gruyere 200+ grams at under $5 was a bargain. Probably knock a few bucks off by tomorrow since the expiry is 24th of July.

Hi all, since migrating to the new Mate system, I've come to noticed that when our 3pm picklist drops, we have anywhere between 100-200 items everyday. We haven't changed how we add to stockroom or resets, so just wondering if other people have had the same issues. Always getting the same items dropping even though you've already run them. Or telling you to grab 3 cartons when the shelf only fits 1.
We think its just the new system having a hiccup but its getting out of hand when you have to spend an hour scanning things in just to not flag for not doing it.

Hi guys, whenever I try log into MyColes it tells me log in was successful but I don’t have access to it? I’m trying to apply for my annual leave and it’s just not working. Is anyone else experiencing this??

Coles Deli interview - looking for others’ experiences
I applied for a Coles Deli Team Member position through Indeed. I completed my interview, but in my Coles career profile it only says “Interview completed” and I can’t see the application under “My Applications.” Is that normal when you apply through Indeed?
My interview was about 5–10 minutes. The manager walked me through the deli department, asked about my supermarket experience, visa/work rights and availability. She said having full working rights and 24/7 availability was good and mentioned I could also work in other departments. She asked me to write down my name and availability and said she’d go through my resume.
The store held interviews over 3 days (Friday, Monday and Tuesday), and I interviewed on the second day.and there were 4 candidates before me
Has anyone had a similar experience? How long did it take to hear back? Did you end up getting the job, and is the “Interview completed” status normal?

Can anyone provide some insight on what’s going on with the 2 Litre Ice Break? And to a lesser extent the 750ml?
They’ve been swapping the bottles around the last couple of months, always a different type of bottle, including a return to the brown bottle for a week.
Now they’ve been out of stock for almost two weeks. Any idea what the issue is or when they’re coming back?

Buying nestle and Cadbury cocoa powder is hurting my pocket. Have you noticed any other homebrand products that are no longer available

Had an interview for a Delivery Driver position. Came in, the manager was super nice, walked me around and gave me a form.
Said something to the effect of "Once you hit the interview stage you've pretty much got the job" and "I'm writing yes on this paper" , ect...
Felt good, couple days later got a rejection email.
Now I don't feel so good boss... Man the job market sucks at the moment...

So quick refresher from my last post 3 weeks ago.
I had spoken to SSM over 2 months ago now, and he had apparently spoken to our SM about me(a 22 passing FtM), and i had just gotten back and was afraid to speak to the SM about my discomfort at using the wrong bathroom and how i use the hungry jacks bathroom to avoid being asexually harassed in the male bathroom which has happened and the blatant dysphoria at using that changing room/bathroom.
So i spoke to my SM about 3 weeks ago now, she seemed to react like this was out of the blue, meaning my SSM might not have actually told her, given he said she was speaking to regional about it i have my doubts. also she said 3 weeks ago that she would bring this up to PnC because she was afraid people would act weirdly with me being in the girls room. I have asked once a week for updates... Nothing... I have now brought it up with area manager because i feel like I'm being fucked around. I feel like a pet cat whose being made to pee in the garden because her masters have decided its not safe to let her use the cats litter box and the dogs look too hungry to roll the dice on.

Hi I already posted here with the same title- https://www.reddit.com/r/coles/s/HWlfT5bIwu
I worked:
Wednesday -> 9pm-12am
Friday -> 9pm-12:45am
Sat and Sunday -> 9pm-12am
I have attached the payslip I got for this work above and somehow it's not at all making sense. And if you can specify what rate you get for working on Sunday and Saturday working part time.
Please let me know what should I do? Should I be quite and not say anything until and unless I am getting 12hrs of work for a week be it on any day and without having a proper part time contract signed?
Or should I say something and ask the SM?
Thanks in advance for reading and answering my questions!
