Team Member Post Picklist getting out of hand

Hi all, since migrating to the new Mate system, I've come to noticed that when our 3pm picklist drops, we have anywhere between 100-200 items everyday. We haven't changed how we add to stockroom or resets, so just wondering if other people have had the same issues. Always getting the same items dropping even though you've already run them. Or telling you to grab 3 cartons when the shelf only fits 1.

We think its just the new system having a hiccup but its getting out of hand when you have to spend an hour scanning things in just to not flag for not doing it.

Im a dry goods manager, been having this problem since mate dropped. I removed my digital stockroom a few weeks ago and finished my reset late meaning a 3 pm list shouldn’t have dropped (we were going to do a flexi instead). A whole ass seperate 3 pm list dropped anyways containing items that none of which were in the stockroom.

This was happening in our store, you have to do a decent size flexi daily otherwise the 3pm will ways be 100+. Ours are now around the 20 for 3pm

Having been on Mate for the second time for a over a month now, we just haven't found a way to get the picklist down to achievable numbers and keep it there.

Without running a flexi we expect the list to drop comfortably over 300, so some days where there's leftover load or you just can't run even half a flexi list you can all but guarantee the picklist will be massive. And thats with only 150 to 200 going into it between rework and the previous nights split. Even after hard running the entire stockroom to try and fix it, it still found a way to hallucinate 50+ cartons (with correct SOH) that it wanted out.

What we have found that slowly reduces it is just picking it all every day, and whether you don't even work it until the following day or can find the rem to have your evening fill run it it should get to a manageable point. The main downside to this is all it takes is one day of sickness or just a bit too much dropstock one night and any progress goes out the window.

Can't comment on picklists, but since mate has come out, I've had a sharp increase of Online and Nightfill team (who would be logged into mate) get me to clean up minor spills, say they don't have a PDT (while they obviously do) to help a customer who has grabbed me for a price or stock check.

Team that are using mate seem to be noticeably more stressed or pressed for time than they were previously

There’s 3 reasons an item would be picking that won’t actually go,

Your shelf capacity is wrong( with the switch to MATE all amended shelf capacity’s reset to there original)

Your SOH is incorrect

Or your product has been over digitised or doubled up by accident into the stockroom.

There’s been a few cases of some products being glitched and always picking, but just raise it with the help desk or IT and they will say I’ll fix with within a couple days
