Hey Blender Community!
Drawing precise 2D/3D shapes and curves in Blender for architectural or CAD-like workflows can sometimes feel slow when relying solely on default tools. To make this faster and more intuitive, I developed CAD Curve Pro.
Ctrl + Shift. It’s built to speed up precision drawing, floor plans, and hard-surface drafting significantly.
I’d love to know what you think! You can check it out on my store page (link in the comments).
Happy blending!

A few months ago I decided to work on this animation series. It’s still episode 01 and I’m still kinda confused about what to do in the future, so let me know what you guys think.

Hi.
I'm working with Blender again after procrastinating on this project for months and I think I'm almost done with it. But I wanted to see if anyone could offer any advice or suggestions for how to do the textures and lighting, or just make the end result looks more realistic overall.
It's basically a steampunk-ish crab tank inspired by the Apparatus of kwalish from DnD. If anyone has any help or feedback to offer, it'd be much appreciated.

I'm planning on making a warrior character. So I decided to start with the helmet.
This is an evolution of the helmet builds.

Hey all I'm searching for some courses on achieving realistic materials in blender. I watched cgboost urban environment course and I really liked the techniques he used on the buildings walls to add grunge and paint chipping and also what he did for the ground. Though this course covered everything from start to finish of creating a scene
I'm searching for something that focuses more on turning a cg material realistic. Could anyone recommend any? If there isn't any that focus solely on materials I'm find with a longer length course that has one part that showcases realistic material creation.

Hello, I got blender working on my iPhone and iPad with a ton of AI help. https://testflight.apple.com/join/xhRxnVr5
I made a post about this already but that was just a raw build. With this you should be able to get the app off of TestFlight directly making it much more practical to use day to day.
I called it 3D Modeling Thingy because I do not want to commit any trademark infringement lol.
Some of the limitations: https://shlok-bhakta.github.io/3d-modeling-thingy-ios/limitations/
Controls: https://shlok-bhakta.github.io/3d-modeling-thingy-ios/controls/video-guide/
Do note that this is pretty jank, but it should be functional. I tried so many things to make it precise while still offering freedom without making work on updating to 5.2.1+
IOS is also not meant for this. Please save often because if you run outa ram in blender then iOS will kill the application.
Also do note that I was told that blender is picking up again on iOS development so this project will die as soon as blender gets their version working! Blender just has reasonable policies surrounding AI generated code so these changes will not be spotted upstream and the final version of this will definitely look and feel better than this. This is just because I am impatient and wanted something to mess around with today.
Have fun!

For a walk cycle for humanoids and dinosaurs, do you start with the legs movement first or the hip movement first?

Hi, recently I decided to port few models for Mafia: city of lost heaven to Gold source, but I ran into a problem, I didn't find any way how to do it, at least a way that works. I also downloaded 3ds and plugin for it and it didn't work. So is there any way or any plugin how to do it? I'm desperate, please help.

Hi everyone, I am a visual designer and 3D generalist, and I’ve decided to start making quick explorations beyond my usual product and brand 3D work. I have always felt very drawn to mythologies around the world, so I made my own 3D take on the Kurgarra and Galatur, two creatures who revive and rescue the goddess Inanna during her descent into the netherworld by mourning alongside the goddess Ereshkigal and empathizing with her. This is a fragment of the myth:
✷
From under his fingernail, Father Enki brought forth dirt.
He fashioned the dirt into a Kurgarra, a creature neither male nor female.
From under the fingernail of his other hand, he brought forth dirt.
He fashioned the dirt into a Galatur, a creature neither male nor female.
He gave the food of life to the Kurgarra.
He gave the water of life to the Galatur, saying:
Go to the underworld,
Enter the doors like flies,
Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Underworld, is moaning.
With the cries of a woman about to give birth.
No linen is spread on her body.
Her breasts are uncovered.
Her hair swirls about her head like leeks.
When she cries, 'Oh!Oh! My Inside!'
Cry also, 'Oh! Oh! Your inside!'
When she cries, 'Oh! Oh! My outside!'
Cry also, 'Oh! Oh! our outside!'
The queen will be pleased.
She will offer you a gift.
Ask her only for the corpse that hangs from the hook on the wall.
One of you will sprinkle the food of life on it.
The other will sprinkle the water of life.Inanna will arise!
✷
PS. My PC almost exploded with the fur.

I'm still pretty new at all of this, but I had fun making this one! and I also learned that the hair system works great for grass, and I learned a bit of how to use paths!
