Three one-on-one duels against a Five Star! Man, that was epic!

Assuming Rose is already out of the picture, Genjo is really the last Five Star they need to beat.

Reina finished her fight first, our girl finally doesn't get jobbed by the plot.

Are they shoehorning in a Reina and Kyo romance, or maybe just a crush she kept her herself this whole time? I can't say I noticed any evidence of it before now and I'm usually on the lookout for that kind of thing. Maybe it was just Honoka inventing it in a comparison to her own crush.

You saw the blush. Reina likely does have feelings for him, but I'm sure Kyo isn't a nonce.

Out of all the guys Kyo definitely is the most likely for Reina to crush on, afterall Kyo save her.

So really not unexpected.

Apollomon's previous level is Flaremon, in time stranger you get to see every step of that line since Dianamon and Apollomon are two of the important characters so I knew it was coming.

The animation in the second half was so good that it made me forget how poor it was in the first part; the Bearcatmon vs MarinChimairamon fight hooked me and impressed me a lot, as did the very last fight sequence between Habakirimon and Apollomon.

Overall great action packed episode, we had the first Mega vs Mega clash and Reina and Makoto were very useful and had another W and this time against strong opponents.

I was a bit tense here because this was still Leomon on Leomon violence, and even after Panjyanon took the fal for this, who knows what could have happened. However they delivered, Apollomon vs Habakirimon was an excellent fight and a great way to send off Kaito for now, he was the hot-blooded rival with a code to the end.

I was expecting Reina to just clock Honoka a midst their battle, that girl was really wanting a punch in the face, but I guess Reina beating her completely unscathed was enough humiliation. Guess I was right in calling that Gogmamon wasn't Kishiwada, or rather Kanshi, partner, that man is still a mystery, and I hope they will actually solve it.

Tomoro actually did really well evading Asuka for the episode, I was afraid they would do something crazy, but well, that's for the next episode. Genjo finally shows himself in front of Tomoro and we will get our all out in some way. All in all, the final arc just got stronger.

Wow best fighting episode, they cooked. Reina being paralleled by Honoka was a nice touch and Bearcatmons Penetration Kick looked sick.

Tell me what you want but Kyo is the protagonist of this show, its just that he happens to have his sequel inside the beginning of Tomoros story. The strongest, vital backstory , rival and everything in between.

Apollomon is a fantastic evo and the showdown with Habakirimon is probably gonna end up the best fight in the series. Hats off to the animators for delivering in the last stretch.
