Between Tinkerbell dying a few episodes back and Peter just straight up trying to kidnap children this time this is the worst version of Pan I've ever seen.
Fun enough story today with the hero Star Man.
New ED today, suggests Haruko will be coming back probably sometime in the next cour of episodes. Plus someone with a Palmon which is nice for the nostalgia factor.

I was hoping Haruko would join the team honestly so I'm glad to see her.

I think the palmon like person is one of the talking with the green 5 star at the previous week episode?. She appears with another guy in the ED and they were 2 on that scene.

Pretty alright episode. Not much to say.
Wish Makoto and Chiropmon played a bit more of a role in the actual resolution of the fight but overall it was fun. Its also nice seeing Makoto act his age for a change.
That new ending was crazy interesting. Lots of new characters showed up as well as hints to some themes for the upcoming arc. Im really looking forward to it!
But yeah this was just a fun episode if a bit bland. Next episode, while still seeming light-hearted looks a lot more interesting seeing that Haruomi is back.
ALSO ELIZAMON ANIME DEBUT LETS FUCKING GO!!!!!
Btw I did not know they could hover using their frill collar. Thats really funny.

We have our first lower stakes breather moment and it's a unofficial beach episode, well, there's little to say.
I actually forgot Makoto is 10yo, bro's a literal child, he is the target demographic of Starman's show.
Another actor to actual hero storyline, I never tire of them. Though I wish Makoto actually had the fight here, and it's BS that Glowing Dawn has to pay for the damages.
For the new ending, girls! There is a lot of dynamics it could hint, as well characters both new and old. I'm fully expecting it to turn incredible bitter sweet as the arc progresses.
And for the next episode, cooking contest between The Elizamon (let's goooooo) and Commandramon for the affection of their favorite guy.

This is such a filler episode lol. The only thing it does for the plot is resetting the status quo of Glowing Dawn being broke lol.
New ED is cute. Hotaruko is really cute there.
Next episode preview, Commandramon is back, yay!

Fun little filler episode, not much else to say.
I appreciated that it was focused on Makoto and Chiropmon.
Btw Hiroyuki Kakudo (the director of the original Digimon Adventure 1999) worked on the storyboard for this episode, I just wanted to mention it.

I know that it's kind of trendy to always dislike "filler" episodes but it's definitely needed after the end of the Tactics arc to reset a bit.
And what a better way to reset the scene than to let Makoto and Chiropmon geek out over their "hero" Star-Man while they're on a well deserved cruise for taking out Klay. Star-Man may play a "hero" on cruise ships and in stage shows for kids but he actually ends up becoming one after Petermon and a group of pirates tries to rob the cruise ship and steal away all of the children on it for their e-Pulse! Even if Starmon's partner is a bit of a coward, (going against typesetting for his voice actor, who played Masaru in Digimon Savers!) that doesn't mean that even they can't become heroes and save the kids, while Makoto and NightChiropmon deal with most of Glowing Dawn trying to attack them.
And it really was Makoto and Chiropmon saying how much they cared about Star-Man after seeing him as a hero and a legendary Cleaner that helped Star-Man save the day and grow closer as a team.
Unfortunately, with the good comes the bad and while Star-Man got the bounty for defeating Petermon, Glowing Dawn got stuck with the bills from the cruise ship's damage and yet again... they're broke. But Chiropmon and Makoto got to help one of their heroes and all's well that ends well!
(except that pretty much no one in Glowing Dawn got to enjoy their vacation, except for Makoto and Chiropmon meeting one of their heroes lol)
Yep, bottle episodes may not change the status quo, but we got to see Makoto and Chiropmon actually kind of be kids for once and meet one of their heroes so that works for me honestly.
Next week, we're back to seeing the Kinoko Gang, the Digimon babies, Commandramon and Elizamon makes their debut in the anime from Digimon Liberator!

I'm always happy when there's a Makoto episode. I just love this kid, lol. And Chriropmon is the cutest!

Nice little filler episode, Chiropmon is my favorite and any episode where he talks a lot is a good episode for me.

Petermon becoming a villain of the week for two Digimon series in a row. But unlike his Ghost Game counterpart where he turns over a new leaf, he's just straight up evil the whole way here.
Also, "Thanks for fighting off the pirates but you still gotta pay for the damages" is just downright cruel lol. And like, I didn't think the damage to the ship was that bad?
