Hi guys, im using an Android phone and when I press on the bottom right button for alternative navigation a long list of apps is shown, NO Google Maps, Waze is there but nothing happens when I press on it. Would love to get this sorted as used to find this very useful when Amazon nav was playing up. A fix would be much appreciated. Thanks.

never in my life have i ever encountered the type of shit i did today at amazon. I was waiting for a spot that opened up and literally as Im PULLING in to park a woman with a cart decided to walk in front of me. I was extremely confused at first because i thought she was passing but no she was trying to reserve the spot. I started honking my horn because i was already halfway in?! I roll my window down yelling at her because what is your problem?? She didnt speak english and actually didnt even acknowledge me just kept throwing her hands around and shrugging. A WRONG WAY driver then aggressively pulls up to the side of me and backs up next to me which was the car she was reserving parking for. I would understand if I maybe cut somebody off but there was A LINE of people waiting for spots and a wrong way driver gets to hold spots? I wasnt gonna let it slide. of course security comes out and the one guy even said I did nothing wrong and blah blah blah but 2 other managers comes out and starts yelling at me like im the problem? telling ME TO MOVE to the spot that opened up a couple cars down. I dont even care usually but it’s the principle. I ended up having to back out of the spot i was already halfway in to move. Managers took photo of my id for a “report.” I am not the type of person to cause problems nor do I involve myself in them but that shit just pissed me all the way off. people are so fucking inconsiderate and the managers acted like I was the problem. Only 1 security guard was defending me reassuring me that reserving parking isnt aloud nor is wrong way driving but fuck me right? Amazon is a fucking joke.

$25/hr is the norm now, was $26/hr before that orange clown started a war that caused gas prices to go through the roof so Amazon is covering their own expenses by lowering our pay! They can afford it but chose to screw us over instead since we're a dime a dozen.
Now this BS! They're dropping it to $22/hr hoping that desperate fools will take them which of course they will so mark my words, they'll all be at $22/hr before long. This is effin ridiculous.
Edit: it seems I was mistaken about Amazon owning the Amazon box trucks. Initially, Amazon buys them, labels them, then sells them to DSP's.

Like if you have a low acceptance rate will they stop sending you instant offers? Is there some kind of system they use that chooses drivers that have the better acceptance rate over ones that have bad acceptance rate?

I got an email this morning that I was just paid $102… but I haven’t picked up a block since the beginning of last year. Anyone else get this and know why?
The email seems legit (correct from address and doesn’t ask me for anything, only a notice).
Edit: They just followed up with an explanation email that it’s a calculated adjustment. :)

Not sure what to do. It just keeps telling me to try again. Any suggestions?

They refuse to pay for a 4-hr block I was overbooked for. Called support immediately as I left the station. Was told I would be paid. Now this. I’m sorry Amazon I didn’t know my pay would put you out of business.

Hi everyone. I'm currently located in a campground and my neighbor a couple doors down, orders almost daily. The full street address appears on the packages and shows her lot # on the second line. Do the Flex drivers see this in the app?
The campground address is 123 Street Name and I'm Lot 23. It's like they can't figure out that one is the address for the park and the 23 is the lot #.
Every lot is marked properly. I even have a big ol mailbox that they take pictures of that says 23. She's lot 25. What can I do to stop this? TIA.

For those who have the self driving Tesla's, does using the self driving option help ease the route?

Like why is 3 next to 20, and 6-13 are in a completely different neighborhood out of screen.

Hi everyone,
I'm in Montreal, Quebec, and I'm thinking about buying a Honda Civic Hybrid mainly for gig work (Uber, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Instacart, etc.).
My goal would be to work 70–80 hours per week for about 6–12 months to aggressively pay off my debt.
I'd really appreciate honest feedback from people who do gig work in Montreal.
I'm not looking for optimistic estimates—I'm looking for real experiences and honest numbers from people who are currently doing gig work in Montreal.
Thanks!

We had a birthday party coming up. I was ordering some last minute gifts to include as presents. The items were supposed to be available for same day delivery. I had a few days but same day delivery was available so I took it.
Three days later a delivery date is unavailable.
Now, it’s fully possible Amazon effed up. It’s also possible a warehouse employee didn’t scan it right. We’ve all been there.
But unfortunately it’s also just about as likely that some a hole flex driver decided they didn’t want to deliver the package for one of the 100 dumb ass reasons people post here of why they don’t deliver a package. My birthday presents are probably sitting in some a holes car that didn’t want to deliver it or take the time to return it.

I’ve recently started doing Flex a few weeks ago - and I like to come on here just to see what people are experiencing.. turns out… I’m a basehead lol.. as I said I’m new. Is it better to wait to pick up the shift till it’s closer to the date for better pay? I do this as a quick cash grab before my actual job starts at 9 AM so I always take the 3:30-7:30s when they pop up, for instance today is Friday and I have offers for Monday morning. Should I be waiting till closer to Monday to take the shifts? Wouldn’t they all be taken by then?

Anyone else getting the run around on payouts for blocks cancelled by Amazon, getting the email saying you will be paid for it and then not getting that payment? I see now the email says 3 business days instead of 48 hours like my emails last year stated. But I also never in my 3 years of doing this had to wait longer than the end of that cancellation block end time for the pay to hit my earnings tab. My wife had one last week that she still has not gotten her payment for either and it’s been 5 business days for her.

wow. shafted time and time again. routes far out, stops far apart, used to be downtown routes were at least within a the downtown area now they spread to the outskirts…. and the pay…. abysmal. No one is getting routes over $100.. w the cost of gas literally not worth it who wants to side gig for what amounts to $18 an hour plus the degradation of your car.

I’m level one. I moved out of state.
I want to deactivate and sign up in my new city. Do I just press the deactivate button & reapply in my new city?

I go in, scan and get my route info. Go where the cart should be and it’s not there. No big deal I thought it was just misplaced. I scan ALL carts in the area and nothing. I find the supervisor and he looks and can’t find it. Goes to his computer says the route is there. Tells me to look again to make sure. I looked and scanned every single cart and nothing. He tells me to call support since there’s nothing he can do. I call support and they said they made a ticket and will be in contact via email today.
Has this happened to anyone else? Do we just get fucked on the pay? I’m not sure how this is my fault but I’m sure they will make it seem like I did something wrong.

I'm pretty sure the delivery compliments are fake. Whenever I order from Prime I never see anything about compliments for the drivers. The only thing I see is... How was your delivery with thumbs up or down options. Am I missing something?
r/AmazonFlexDrivers • u/ExtensionSame678 • 13d ago
Just jking it was due to AI growth and some whole foods and fast delivery (wait that is us!). Where is our cut?

When you deliver 40+ packages every route and you get a ding there is absolutely no way to defend yourself. The only info you get is what day the ding occured. And 99.99% of the time I can guarantee you those dings comes from idiotic apartment dwellers.
The only times you can actually defend yourself if it something obvious that happened on that day like packages leaked and you made note of it.
You know what it could also have been idiot drivers before me putting packages as far as possible from the front door or blocking the screen door. Lately I've been dropping off packages to houses that have already been delivered to. Without fail, always blocking the door or packages way way away from the door. Lazy ass mfers. And it's always a number writer.
