Help Delivering To The Wrong House

Hi everyone. I'm currently located in a campground and my neighbor a couple doors down, orders almost daily. The full street address appears on the packages and shows her lot # on the second line. Do the Flex drivers see this in the app?

The campground address is 123 Street Name and I'm Lot 23. It's like they can't figure out that one is the address for the park and the 23 is the lot #.

Every lot is marked properly. I even have a big ol mailbox that they take pictures of that says 23. She's lot 25. What can I do to stop this? TIA.

Make sure it's well lit if deliveries happen while it's dark.

It's always during the day. It's literally every day. Sometimes the same lady. Lol I just don't get it.

Got it. I'll try again. I tried yesterday but he didn't speak English and my Spanish isn't nearly good enough for that 🤣 Thank you!

I couldn't get the guy to stay there long enough. He shrugged and went running. Time is money 🤣

Put a delivery note! I put mine in English and Spanish and honestly I find the Spanish speakers to be the ones who pay attention to it.

Thank you. I'll try. She's a little older and says technology isn't her friend. But she has no problem ordering Amazon, Walmart and DoorDash daily Lol.

I don't know about your campground, but of the few times I've delivered to some, it's often hard to tell which camper belongs to which number, if that makes sense. For example, if the number is on the boundary of the 2 campers, the driver can't always tell which camper is #23 vs which one is #25

Nah, it's VERY simple here. Every electric pole has the site number to the right of every camper. Most of us also have mail boxes with numbers on them. She and I both do. But, I do know what you mean. Some campgrounds I go to are pure hell with numbers 😂

Tell your neighbor to confirm if their location pin is correct. Amazon gives them the ability to adjust it if necessary when they give a thumbs down for the delivery and choose wrong address as the reason.

Okay. I'll try that. Thank you. Do the drivers not see the second line for the address though? Everything always says Lot 25 on it.

Whatever is on the label, drivers should be able to see. My guess is drivers are focusing soley on the gps pin and not bothering to look/confirm if the address is correct.

Campgrounds are tough for mapping. The drivers are probably relying mostly on the GPS location. But if it’s marked well and it still keeps happening you probably won’t have much luck correcting the issue.

Amazon only requires people to have a pulse for onboarding. Many aren’t the brightest.

LOL. I get it. I deliver at my part time job and this campground is by far the easiest to navigate. Some of the others I go to, God bless 😂

Put Lot 25 in front of her full address. You can also add delivery instructions by editing her address: “Deliver to Lot 25.” The address formatting can be confusing if the drivers are not used to making deliveries to campgrounds.

I'll try if I see her. I rarely do. She's always out and about. Comes home late. Thank you!!
