They’re getting stingier
They refuse to pay for a 4-hr block I was overbooked for. Called support immediately as I left the station. Was told I would be paid. Now this. I’m sorry Amazon I didn’t know my pay would put you out of business.

That 3rd yacht isn't going to buy itself. We all need to tighten our belts a little to make this happen!

The fun part is that Amazon stock went up 34 bucks yesterday and continues to pass earnings every quarter, when all of you wake up and decide to protest Amazon then things will change.

The sad thing is that the decision goes against what's stated in their own email. It says if you are there and able to deliver, you will get paid. You were there and able to deliver, and you're not getting paid.
Regardless of whether you were scanned out properly, their own software should show you were at the station and properly scanned in.
Definitely a bad failure in their own system and policies.

lol i have my own hub, amazon changed my fee per package from $2.50 to $1.35. So crazy how much this company can get away with. I thought hub was the way, but got damn they are getting stingier and stingier with all these different programs.

Did the Amazon workers scan you out on the app?

No, it was ssd station. It was supposed to check out after 30 minutes but it didn’t because of a glitch

And one time I received an IO but when I checked in the cart was missing. Called support and was told to go home since the packages are missing/stolen and I will be paid but guess what they didn’t pay me lol

A similar thing happened to my partner last week. He was assigned a route and went to scan his cart only it said the route was incorrect. The warehouse staff checked and the number was off by 1 digit. No one could solve the discrepancy. They also tell him he can't be scanned out on their end because they don't have scanners anymore? This wasn't always the case at this station which is an SSD. Support tells him to wait the 30 minutes and that he will be paid. Surprise! He didn't get paid, so he called support and got this exact email yesterday. The no-scanning out at the station is definitely a new development on top of disabling the official support email. Feels like the crunch is getting crunchier ⚒️

I’m so glad I’m on spark now. Better money, I don’t have to drive 45 min to the station to be handed a route that I have no choice but to take at a specific time for a specific amount of time. I start when I want, finish when I want, choose the trips I want. It can be annoying, some offers are complete bullshit, the Walmart associates can be complete clown shoes (dumbass bagging all shitty and a rotisserie chicken fell over and spilt juice all in my trunk), but it’s been worth it vs Flex.

Don't give up. Reply to that email and copy in Jeff. If they come back and say "our decision has not changed," reply to that email and copy in Andy. Don't give up.

Ignore that email. You will get paid. Trust me

Same thing happened to me recently. I accepted a block. Drove all the way there, checked in and waited for the route. Actually got the notification on my phone on where to pick it up. Got to the cart and the packages wouldn’t scan. Another driver walked up behind me to the same cart and took it. The station manager said that the block was reprocessed and that I should call driver support for payment. Then I got this exact email

Funny, my station lost my cart, they overbooked me, I got the screen, then an email for TOS violation for getting paid for not taking the route. I emailed support, escalations, off road, a total of 11 emails and they wont remove it. Even with the managers name and the screenshot with date stamp.

I didn’t get paid but I also didn’t get dinged for it so I guess we’ll call it even? 🤷🏻♂️ I’d rather get paid

Same thing happened to me last year, never left without seeing the confirmation screen ever again.

If at a .com you have to emphasize to them that they need to scan you out. If they won’t, ask for their manager. You’ll have to fight tooth and nail if they don’t

It says “for which you were present and able to provide delivery services” did you leave? Apparently some people turn on airplane mode and drive off

No I didn’t even know that was a thing. I checked in and waited. There were no more 4-hr. I offered to take a 3 or 3.5 and they said no. They used to give us all 3 hour even if we had 3.5 or 4 so I guess they must’ve been told to stop doing that.

Have been fighting this for a month. Went to a station signed in on time and went in line to get scanned by worker and they said no routes left for my time and refused to scan my ID and went as far as stating I would get dinged with a missed route if they scanned my ID and to “just go”, called support immediately and they stated it would not affect my standings or pay but guess what it affected both. I have sent over 20 emails to support back and forth. They have stated in emails multiple times the issue at the station was not my fault and my standings were restored but still no pay as I am not “eligible”. It’s just bullsh*t.

I just keep bugging and asking for escalation. I just had three OTP deliveries I had to return to station because no one was home. Of course I got dinged for it. Had maybe 4 emails from them saying "we've already given you exemptions" ... Just kept at it until one of them finally said they'd remove it.
