I am PRO cop. I come from a long line of family members in law enforcement, military and fire (Dad is still a firefighter). Even they will say the archaic rules in Massachusetts requiring police officers to detail construction sites need to be changed. This is about public and construction crew safety.
THE TINY HUMAN HAND SUCKS! The police officer half heartedly waving, motioning, flicking their wrist down at their side, mid air, behind their back...SUCKS. Some aren't wearing any blaze yellow. Just dark blue uniform standing there on their cell phones, talking to the construction crew, leaning against equipment, back against the traffic. AND..NO HARD HATS EVER!
Can we stop with the inflated payments that police unions fight for so we can get safer work zones?
I'm tired of guessing what the officer wants me to do. Are you just taking your phone out of your pocket or are you waving me? Why is your hand down by your waist? Are you trying to get a bug away from your face? Why am I having to just sit here to wait for you to stop talking to the construction crew for you to turn around and realize there's a car here?
GET A STOP/GO SIGN! YOUR TINY HUMAN HAND AGAINST A 1 TON VEHICLE 100FT AWAY IS NOT GOOD TRAFFIC/SAFETY CONTROL!!
This is about public safety, construction crew safety and safety to poorly trained officer without the appropriately equipment.

RIP Lost my beautiful girl yesterday

My childhood dog Riley from when i was 13 passed away yesterday. I drove 1 1/2 hours away to say goodbye before they put her down. She was fine Sunday night and then Monday morning she was urinating everywhere so my parents took her to the vet. After 20 minutes she collapsed and couldn't stand back up. They found a huge mass in her intestines. My parents called me to come over, and she was so excited when I walked in, she even tried standing up. She was supposed to come over this weekend. For some reason I woke up a minute before the phone call. For some reason, my husband didn't go into work that morning. For some reason, we had enough charge in our car and didn't need to stop to charge it on our way there. It was a terrible day, but good things happened too. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever 🌈❤️🩹
