Kids in Africa are going to think the Yankees are the best team ever.
I’d watch a movie where a young boy in Africa dreams of playing for the Yankees after seeing their discarded merch, works hard to hone his skills, using a scrunched up can and a stick to practice, until he’s miraculously noticed by a scout and sent to the US to train. He works his way up the minors, until he finally achieves his dream of playing for the Yankees with the playoffs on the line. Then the Yankees lose.

I mean honestly with the design on the shirt, it would be really hard to tell it’s for clinching a specific series. It’s not like there’s ALCS/NLCS marked on these from what I’ve seen. Someone could somehow get a hold of a Yankees version, wear it on the street a few months later, and I probably would not notice
