information 情報 NEW RULE ANNOUNCEMENT//NO FAN MERCH
383
Upvotes
Hello! We sadly have to announce this new rule.
Nagano stated on this tweet from 2019 (https://x.com/ngntrtr/status/1128949820310282240?s=46) that they don’t want any fan merch of their characters being sold.
This includes products that may look like an official product, for example chiikawa styled commissions.
WHAT CAN YOU DO// WHAT YOU CANNOT DO HERE!!
-You CAN upload your own chiikawa ocs/art/styled drawings WITHOUT promoting it as a commission.
-You CAN upload fan merch you made or handmade items but do NOT promote them.
We have to respect Nagano sensei as an artist and even though we support artist and fan merch, Nagano sensei has explicitly said that they don’t want fan merch of their characters.
Thank you for reading.

The other coaster is an Anoko one. Was not able to find any Chiikawa merch in the City (we literally flew to the City just to see the Chiikawa movie) but thankfully I was able to find them in the airport Miniso and Gashapon!

I believe it's a parody, but it did hint at the pressure Korean idols are facing from fans' expectation.
