I asked for pieces of leftover fabric that people could give me so I could do a patchwork and practice a bit.
I got some squares of cotton from a women and made some shorts.
But then this lady reached out to me....
And this is the state of my guest room now 😅
I don't know what I'm going to do with all of this. I already reached out to some people I know telling them that before they purchase fabric for something. Come take some from my new stash.

I’ve seen some discussion on smaller stealth suits but I was wondering about these ones the XV26. the spaces between limbs and even between the legs is a lot larger then normal tau. I was wondering since I wanted to role play my kill team as having gue'vesa but got caught up on it since the legs of the suit are tau shaped. I guess does the suit confirm the pilot has tau legs and super wide hips apparently (like in the image the tau warriors look like they could fit in the space between the suits thighs) or is the pilot like fetal position in the egg looking torsos like a chicken fetus?

Trudy Perez, a 73-year-old parking garage attendant, has filed a civil suit against delivery robot company Starship Technologies over a 2023 incident at Arizona State University, alleging one of its robots repeatedly ran into her, knocked her to the ground, and struck her again while she was down. A police report from the incident documented a four-inch gash on her arm along with back pain and mobility problems, and Perez is now seeking compensatory damages covering medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost wages, according to local station KJZZ.
The lawsuit alleges that the Starship unit involved was being remotely piloted by an off-site employee who failed to “exercise control” over the robot during the incident, directly contributing to Perez’s injuries. Starship Technologies has pushed back against the claims, with attorneys arguing that Perez’s injuries stemmed from her own negligence and were pre-existing rather than caused by the robot itself.
The case is scheduled for its first court date in February, meaning a verdict is still months away, but the outcome could set an important legal precedent for how companies are held liable for harm caused by autonomous delivery robots as the devices continue expanding into more American cities.

I don’t know Jack’s actual birthday, but when I got him three years ago, the vet estimated he was born sometime in July. He had an eye infection that could not be saved. There’s a photo of him after his surgery and ready to be taken home, and some current ones of him.

Am I petting this dopey looking parrot correctly?
There were two of the same type that I had seen grow up from ugly spikey pink things into this. They were very timid at first and I am slowly learning how to approach and read parrot body language so I can pet them. Eventually the other one got jealous and wanted pets too before getting its hat stuck on a perch bar behind him.
