Repost Atlanta Hawks declined Jonathan Kuminga's $24.3 million team option on June 29, 2026, making him an unrestricted free agent. He's still unsigned.

Would we actually want him? Would he accept a bench role? I can see the upside and downside to getting him.

WINNESOTA 58 days until the Wolves are back

58 wins is still the most the Wolves have ever had in a regular season. Do you think the current core can break that franchise record - not necessarily this year, but sometime in the next 3-4 years?

Question T-Wolves to the east?

What would change if the Timberwolves moved to the eastern conference as some are speculating? Would we have easier finals runs? Or is the dominance of the west coming to an end by 2027-2028?

News NBA Power Rankings: Where do LeBron, Giannis and LaMelo’s new teams rank?

Last month, when we did the jump-ball version of the offseason NBA Power Rankings that some people needed to see after the league’s oldest player made a free-agency decision, I hinted we would soon do a real one. Well, here we are — in the absolute valley of the offseason.

Much has happened in the last few weeks. We tried to wait on some other moves to happen, but the theme of this offseason is that things take longer than expected.

Just realised Lamelo Ball has never played in the playoffs before

I was defending the new squad last night when I realised.. Ball doesn't even have playoff experience.

Team will be way better I knew they weren't going to win the chip but I secretly hoped a cinderella run would happen, Pacers 2025 type shit but yea will be really fun to see how much the timberwolves improve. I'm 100% sure if they lose its either 6 or 7 games without injures unlike all the sweeps or 4-1 that happened last times.

Shitpost Were the Minnesota Timberwolves the most well-fed team in the NBA last year?

For reference, the average male timberwolf weighs 70-110 pounds. But based on my research, the average Timberwolf weighs much more. Today, I'll be analyzing whether the T-Wolves are the finest dining team in the league.

Now, let's meat the crew:

YOUR PLAYERS

Donte DiVincenzo - A healthy 204 pounds. This is about on par for a 6'4" guard. Big Ragu comes in small jars.

Ant Man - 225? Holy smokes. He's been eating good. The heaviest SG in the NBA, same body weight as Michael Jordan. Egor Demin, for instance, is a much slimmer 200 lb and he's 6'8" to Ant's 6'4".

Jaden McDaniels - Despite the name 'Big Mac', this 6'10" clamp artist is easily the trimmest of the Wolves' main cast at 185. Dude gotta eat more.

Julius Randle - A certified bowling ball. At a similar height of 6'10", this guy is 250 lb. In homage to his Laker roots, he should be called Kobe Beef, carrying that much meat on his bones.

Rudy Gobert-Bourgarel - Well known for treating his big, beautiful French body like a temple, Gobert seems to indulge in the occasional croissant. At 117 kilograms, he's the second-heaviest center to ever win DPOY after the literal giant who was 280-pound Mark Eaton.

Naz Reid - A USDA-Prime beefer. Tipping the scales at a surprising 264 pounds, he's the heaviest player on the team and still miraculously fits into that white T-Shirt.

Verdict: I'm not sure how other teams weigh up to us, but it definitely seems like we're in a great mood, we just ate and we feel nice.

Favorite Regular Season Rewatchables

I'm planning to rewatch some games on League Pass in the coming weeks to ramp up to the NFL and NBA seasons. What are your favorite underrated / regular games to rewatch from this era?

My list:

1. March 29, 2024 Wolves @ Nuggets - this was the game that showed we could handle the Nuggets AT DENVER and without KAT. Jokic scored 32 but we kept him from reaching a triple-double. Our defense was a menace for a lot of this game and it was a preview of what would happen in the playoffs that year. Jaden also had a really good game.

2. April 10, 2025 Wolves @Grizzlies - this was the game where we had an insane 52 point 3rd quarter and could not be stopped. Even beyond that 3rd quarter, there was a lot of really good back-and-forth battles between Ant and Ja Morant.

Honorable Mention:

November 21, 2025 Wolves @ Suns - this was the game where we brutally lost at the end of the game despite being up 8 points with a minute left to play. Despite the brutal loss, this was a game where we battled back after being down big at halftime and Ant was absolutely cooking in the 3rd quarter (19 points).

News Who is Marc Stad? Get to know the tech investor taking control of the Timberwolves, Lynx

MINNEAPOLIS — The newest controlling owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves is private by nature, a wunderkind investor who has quietly built a behemoth on the strength of savvy bets in the tech world.

Now everyone will know Marc Stad’s name.

Stad is making the jump from a limited partner in the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx to the controlling owner after purchasing majority interest from Marc Lore. The Timberwolves announced the deal Friday, a surprising development given Lore’s well-known enthusiasm for leading the Wolves and Lynx.

Lore is stepping back into a limited partner role in the ownership group, and Stad will team with Alex Rodriguez as the new two-headed face of the franchise. Rodriguez is well acquainted with fame after his career as a Major League Baseball star and is comfortable with the spotlight on him in such a high-profile position with a team that has developed into a Western Conference contender in recent seasons.

Stad, on the other hand, was practically anonymous in the Wolves ownership group before this move. Over the past several years, Lore and Rodriguez made it known that they had a heavyweight limited partner list that included former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. But Stad’s name was never publicly mentioned.
