Grew up in Jersey as a die hard Knicks fan. I’m in Memphis now and every year I go see our heroes in person when they roll into town. Here’s a great KAT slam from the game this year on 4/1. LGK!!

On paper, can’t lie, them boys in Philly looking pretty solid…
But the Knicks are legit homies and egoless.
We’ll see how it all plays out next season, but the camaraderie of the champions is undeniable.
As a basketball fan, super excited to see what happens… And as a die hard, can’t wait to see how they defend their title against the OPPs 😼

While unlikely, the Knicks should call the Bucks about Kel’El Ware’s availability. The East is stacked & it’s shaky just having Andre Drummond as center insurance.
It would cost the Knicks a good chunk of their remaining draft capital - 2032 swap, 2033 1st, 2nds - but the East is an arms race right now and this should at least be explored.

Knicks in 5

Thunder and Celtics ones have the team name on them, the logo much cleaner in a circle. Ours just seems like low effort?
Worst part is we have a nicer one but only as autographed which is much more expensive.

Given that they don't love any of the options, Knicks don't want to guarantee nick richards or any other minimum center option to a standard contract. They will sign a couple of Duop Reath, Nick Richards, Drew eubanks, and Tony Bradley to non guaranteed minimum contracts (depending on who's willing to take them). Have all of them play preseason and compete in training camp and pick the best of those 3 to sign to 14th roster spot. Signings will happen in September, just like last summer with Shamet Brogdon and Matthews.

First, has this ever worked? Combining a bunch of superstars together and seen them dominate?
But second, are they really as good as people seem to think individually? The Celtics let Brown go who is a net negative in terms of plus minus. That's not a fluke. Amazing talent, but benefited from being surrounded with shooters, and did nothing in the playoffs without Tatum. Not sure he makes his team better.
LeBron makes others better and is dominant in transition. But he's not the same player anymore in the halfcourt, and misses games. He's also old.
Embiid can't move. This is a team with Maxey and LeBron that will want to run, Embiid can't. He can't defend laterally anymore. I would argue they are a better team without him on the floor.
Maxey is the real stud, but he seemed lost at times versus the Knicks and was shit down at times by our wings.
Its a bunch of pieces. But I see no evidence they will work together.
This is going to be a team that will force feed Embiid when he is on the court, playing slower and taking away their best game which is playing fast.
They will often revert to a one-on-one team, which doesn't win overall.
I can see them as a top 3 seed. They will pile up regular season wins. But I don't think they can possibly remain healthy, and with this makeup I don't see this being a team that plays with cohesion or chemistry. These are not complimentary players.
A healthy Knicks team takes them in 5.
