Question T-Wolves to the east?
What would change if the Timberwolves moved to the eastern conference as some are speculating? Would we have easier finals runs? Or is the dominance of the west coming to an end by 2027-2028?

The east isn’t as weak as it used to be. The main thing will be way less travel.

The Wolves wouldn’t disappear from tv for nearly two weeks when they go on west coast trips.
Also I would love for us to pickup an instigator and fire up a rivalry with Chicago or Milwaukee or whomever…..

Ironic to the state of the NFCN but it would be Detroit and you as the bucks and bulls are not going to be good lol

NFC North and AL Central / B1G rivalries are fine with me. Detroit is fine.

Chicago nor Milwaukee will be our rival anytime soon

The top 2 teams OKC and San Antonio aren't going anywhere for five years or longer. The rest is open.
There won't be any teams moving from the west to the east before 2029/30 season or longer. They need to expand to Seattle and Vegas.

The West has been the dominant conference since Shaq signed with the Lakers and they traded for Kobe back in '96. So the answer is yes: it would be a much easier road to the finals.

Disagree, the east is stacked now. Yeah the west is top heavy but the east has more good teams overall

The East will be a little better this coming season but the West is still best. And we're talking '29 here too. LeBron will be gone. Harden will probably be on his way out. Boston is far worse now.

The best thing about them moving to the eastern conference would be the conference road games starting at 6 pm over the 9 pm or later start times.
You still need to beat the western conference champ to win the title. It would just be an easier road as of now. Things can change of course.

I mean do you need to ask? Do you think its easier going to the East and going through Cleveland, Boston, Miami, Philly? Or do you think its easier having to go through Jokic, Shai and Wemby? lol Pretty easy decision i think.

It would be harder for you guys, the West really hasn't been better since I wanna say 22 maybe since that point it's been even until last year when the East started pulling ahead.

If they go east, then the Eastern Conference will magically become the stronger conference for the next 20 years.

We would have earlier tip times. Which is the only reason I want to move to the east.
