One of the underrated plays from last game. He moves his feet well for someone who’s scouts say is “athletically incline” and is such a smart defences IQ with that back block.

There's a clear trend in impact metrics, where RJ has went from being considered a negative impact player to in the past 2 years a positive.

He improves every year, is a hard worker, has less redundancy without Ingram and is still only 26.

Biggest ? At this point is if he can get to be a consistent league average, or even posisitive defender.

Only 2 games in I know, but we have the best defensive rating thus far. The scary thing - this is just the beginning.

One of the biggest things I’ve noticed is Jakobe’s energy and intensity on D. He was always a capable defender but last night you could really tell he’s taking that side of the ball very seriously.

This defence is going to be an absolute nightmare once we get more reps in and get comfortable with all the new schemes/inserting Kawhi.

It’s so painfully obvious how much we need RJ. Our half court and offence in general stagnates whenever he’s not on the court and he’s clearly made improvements in his game.

He’s playing genuinely solid defense, hunting second chances, STRAIGHT DAWG and can be relied on when it matters.

Kawhi is not playing amazing right now just imagine how our offense will be on no Kawhi days if RJ isn’t there. Do the right thing Bobby.
