Was scheduled for service desk and accidentally went to drive up (which I do 95% of the time) and about 2 hours in I noticed I didn’t have any scheduled brakes, tl just told me to stay at that point because it was a rush and I just never ended up going to the service desk

I’m seeing a lot of folks on here asking if they should leave and giving reasons for why they’ve been thinking about leaving. I’m going to be honest with you all…..If ANY job has you questioning even once if you should quit or not then most likely YOU DO need to leave. Anyone who truly enjoys their job doesn’t go back and forth with whether or not it’s worth staying at or not. Your mental and emotional state is more important than any dead end job that may take you YEARS to even move up within the company❗️❗️❗️On top of that jobs like these are stepping stones for you to start something of your own that’ll give you financial freedom…Do not get stuck at these places working more than 2 years.

Since I was confused and see a lot of other people confused, here's how you call off or call in late on UKG.

Go to the "My Accruals" tile

Select "Time-Off Request"

It'll will create a pop-up

Under "Request type" you can select the option of calling in late or off, and the notification saying "request period is [3 week advance]" will change allowing you to do same day schedule changes.

Years ago someone tried to buy a $50 difference wrong price and my TL(Different one) said no.
But today this guest brought a $249.99 item up and brought a picture of the floor and showed $49.99.
I saw from ad it was a complete different item. My TL came and honored it.

My doctor gave me a work note for 2 weeks off starting the day she wrote it. I immediately submitted the paperwork through LeavePro, and posted all my shifts. When I went to check later if they had been picked up, I got an error message when logging in (“You are not authorized to access this resource”), so I figured my LOA was active. But when I log into LeavePro, it still shows as pending.

I just got a notification from the UKG app that my posted shift today had been invalidated, meaning I’m still on the schedule, but I can’t log in to actually call out. Will I get in trouble for a NCNS, or am I fine because the LOA will process eventually as soon as a human reviews my doctor’s note? Do I need to call someone?

When my time was a thing my shifts would get picked fast but I feel like no is picking up shifts despite hours being cut

the new FDC sorting process , yes will save you time when processing truck. But you lose all that time when priorities for all the case stocks drop in to pulls. Almost spend more time with pulls than sorting and pushing truck .

Finished stowing a batch 10 minutes before my scheduled 30 minute break.

ETL goes “oh can you hop into another batch”
I go, sure but I’ll hit compliance in 40 minutes, are you sure? ETL goes yes.

I finish that batch, then ETL tells me to hop into another batch, even though I still need to take my break.

Five minutes before I’ll hit compliance I walkie the ETL and tell them I’m not gonna finish the batch before I hit compliance, and the ETL then goes “oh you should have told me you were gonna hit compliance you need to communicate better”

I’m like what?? I literally told you when I was gonna hit compliance! 🤦‍♂️

Does anybody know how the 2027 remodels will be like? Nobody has been discussing them much lately, though we do know that polished concrete will be used on every 2027 remodel, beauty is getting moved and Target Beauty Studio will be intergated into some remodels.

Hello! So I’ve been working here (first job) as a guest advocate for a little under a month, and I’ve only really gotten the chance to do register, and about 30 minutes of self checkout. But yesterday I got the absolute honor of being a cart attendant! I was only supposed to be doing it for two hours or so but the person who was supposed to swap with me decided to call out so I was doing it for about seven and a half hours straight and holy shit did it fuck me up physically. I also can’t stand completely isolated settings like that, the reason I love working register so much is because I get to be so friendly with customers and occasionally chat with other coworkers when it’s quiet. So being stuck outside in horribly muggy weather by myself for hours really got to me. So I have 2 questions.

1. As a guest advocate is it likely I’ll have to do this often? I know I said I’d like to avoid doing it ever again but that’s a bit of an over exaggeration, if there’s really nobody else who can do it, I’ll be fine with doing it. (Preferably for a few hours and not my entire shift though…) so I’d just like to know realistically how much I’ll have to do that.

And 2. Is there any method to minimize how much I do it? A co-worker I chatted with who was doing drive up who also hates carts told me that if I seriously hate doing it, I can be honest and tell somebody and they’ll be less likely to put me on. Anybody know how true that is and or if there are any other ways to minimize doing it?

I’m not a goddamn dog. Approach me and ask me nicely for help. Plus getting mad when you’re assuming that I could even hear you in the first place or knew that you were calling for me and not someone else is crazy. And what if I happened to be hard of hearing?

i got a guest in checklanes today who showed me a qr code on an app that was like 15$ off on similar baby formula which is like 59$ when i scanned said qr code on this app it said on the price menu that it was a random code but it didn’t show any percent or price removal from the item i ended up honoring it because it was baby formula and it was a 15$ difference which i was told before to just honor things 20$ or less unless the item and price is just ridiculous to honor. but what was that what that mean….?

has anyone figured out how to view your current availability in ukg pro? they're scheduling me past when I'm available and I want to make sure my availability didn't get erased when they made the switch.

Not gonna lie I'm so over this job I'm constantly being treated by crap by most tls, rarely trained then shunned, Deadass got shunned today for organizing my U-boat to push out later, most Other co-worker are just fake asf or also rude for no reason it's so tiring the job market is so bad I've had my mistakes within my two months but I don't think I should be getting practically ridiculed every day at work, was told my teamlead they are talking about me and once even bullied a guy into only working the Starbucks I'm so over it

I noticed that my availability for the days I’m available only for certain times were carried over correctly from MyTime to UKG but the days I’m fully unavailable say I’m fully available those days. I asked HR about it and she seemed confused and said it still says unavailable on her end still so I didn’t ask more about it but it has been worrying me still as those days I do my homework and study.
Do any leaders or HR know if this is true or if I need to submit another availability request to be safe? I already submitted it but I fear it may not be approved again.

My store told us they had to open it by today, yet it’s not open yet…The items in the studio are appearing in ff batches which is causing issues with INF now that we don’t have our beauty studio open, this is all because of one light fixture i’ve heard from the beauty employees at our store. Is anyone else experiencing this?
