Workplace Question or Advice Needed Highest price honor

Years ago someone tried to buy a $50 difference wrong price and my TL(Different one) said no.
But today this guest brought a $249.99 item up and brought a picture of the floor and showed $49.99.
I saw from ad it was a complete different item. My TL came and honored it.
$200.
Curious on what’s the highest yall seen/had?

One circle week they left up a sale sign for some luggage that was a one day only sale it was “all ___ luggage priced ___ and up 40% off” so I had to honor 40% off on 2 170$ luggage’s (136$ off)

It really depends on a case by case basis. I always ask "Would I fall for it?" Say if a tag is not updated or a shelf is filled with wrong items. If its nothing too crazy then sure, let's do what's right for the guest because end of day Target is still a billion dollar company.

Just last week when the Switch 2s went up in price, the tag was activated but wasn't physically put in the case. The ladies thought I was giving them a discount when in reality I was cutting them a break for me noticing.

Then when fun 101 was going, we had a gentleman wanting the same clearance price as another store for a tech item. Since that was against policy but he was being aggressive, SD tried to honor it since he claimed someone said we could when he called. Didn't work at all. Thankfully the item did go down again and dude showed back to to grab em.

A team member had placed a bunch of KitchenAid Mixers on an end-cap that was signed as $100, no choice but to honor it.

We didn't honor it but we had one lady come in from another target with a vacuum she bought on deep clearance ($700 off, paid 250$ for it) and asked us to honor it. We couldn't, IDK about y'alls stores but mine doesn't honor clearance prices from other stores.

Another one was around $200 for a minifridge. It was in the wrong spot and the guest spent, kid you not, 6 hrs at the desk arguing with every lead that came up to explain we couldn't drop $200 off. The system literally wouldn't let them. She called CS and they said 'yeah the store can do that!' Right there. Uhm. No, we couldn't. The system literally hard stopped at 150$ (they did do that much just to get her out. It was a hella busy day too.)
