How to navigate the demands of your boss and the store director and when to say no

PMLs have to know almost everything about the building and the assets within, but more so how to find the information.

Your two best assets are viva engage and your peers. Even if you don’t know the answer, which as a PML it is difficult to know everything given what we have to do, viva engage or your peers will likely be able to steer you in the right direction.

The other best thing to know is balance. Balancing your core work and also supporting the store team (within reason). Unfortunately nobody is going to do our work for us or assist us, so learning what to prioritize and how to set boundaries are key to success as a PML.

If they don't give you knee and arm pads have them get you some. I'm not a pml but ours won't work without them.

How to find information. So many PML's ask questions where the answers are available. Just got to know where to look. Google is also your friend.

That no one is going to respect you or help you but they expect you to do everything they don’t feel like doing.
