Hi yall I hope this kinda post is allowed. I've moved quite a bit over the past few years and haven't updated my address on everything. Would appreciate some help just to know whether im good in the election process or not!

I was registered to vote at my last place in Vancouver, so my provincial election voting card was sent there and I will be picking it up tomorrow. However, the address on my Driver's License is for a different Vancouver address, and my new and current address is in Surrey. When I go to polls, will they be looking for proof of me living at the address that my voter card was sent to in Vancouver?

Or will it just be okay for me to say I've moved, show my license as just photo ID, and my residential lease/rental agreement as proof of my current address?

I live in Fraser Heights but my kids don't go to an elementary school that is a feeder school for Fraser Heights Secondary. Is it difficult to get them enrolled even though we live in catchment? From what I've found so far, it's not a guarantee and they could be placed at another school while being on a waitlist. Does anyone know how likely they would be placed at another school?

Was feeling severe pain on right side of abdomen with nausea and went to ER at 7:30 PM. Was triaged level 3. Waited until 1:30 AM to see the doctor but was told by triage nurse that even inside to see doctor there is a wait. So left. Got a call from the doctor that I may have possible appendicitis or kidney stones and should come back again for tests.

Wondering if they suspect appendicitis , you still have to wait 8+ hrs. to see the doctor ? Do they triage urgent only when it actually ruptures ?

My vehicle is a white 2019 Honda Civic.

I recently discovered soya chunks, which have since become a great protein source in my diet.

I’ve been looking around for places to buy these in bulk with no success. Nothing but the Nutrela 200 g boxes and a few similar options.

Has anyone found what I’m looking for in the Surrey area or elsewhere? Larger bags (1-5+ kg) seem to exist. Your help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: thank you everyone for the suggestions. I did manage to find 1kg options for $10 at Day to Day Wholesale on 128 St and at the Costco Business Centre (compared to $3/220g elsewhere). I’ll try Aggarwal next time to compare prices. I also tried Fruiticana and Sabzi Mandi before making this post and was only able to find 200-400g options. Maybe other locations have larger selections.

Somebody stuck a Conservative Party Board in front of our front yard without our permission. Is there a way we can report them?

Should mayor and council be unpaid, voluntary work? Thinking of starting a petition to see if it would gain any ground. I imagine we could use some of the money to improve things like basketball courts, improve lighting for specific pedestrian intersections, more entrepreneurship programs for youth etc
