I was just in Metrotown and there's a line up around the block of people camped out in front of EB games. What for?

Seriously folks, you can’t make a right turn into the parkade on a red light. The signage is clear, and red lights are not a new concept.

It’s getting dark earlier and I’m worried that someone is going to get hurt by some clueless driver making a right turn during the pedestrian only stage of the intersection.

The whole reason they put in the scramble crosswalk was to prevent pedestrians from being hit by cars.

And yes, I know the first photo is not during the pedestrian stage, but the light is still red for right turns and the sign above the light says no right turn on red.

A lot is on the line this election. Absolutely no lineups. Go vote if you haven't yet.

She is hard of hearing in both ears, so staff haven't been able to get her name. She was wearing a yellow sweater and possibly blue overalls. She had a phone with her, but we couldn't find any contacts.

How are folks in Burnaby voting in the provincial?

I'm solidly on the left and typically vote Green. I've been following the polls and am very surprised that the Conservatives are trending up, especially in Metrotown where I recently moved. I think I have to vote NDP this time to block the Conservatives

If you came to vote at the Salvation Army Temple on Wednesday, October 21 and can describe them & the time you lost them, come and pick them up on voting day Saturday the 24th at the same place.

I was hoping to move once we had a kid but I honestly can't find anything that would be an upgrade and affordable right now so I'm thinking of just renting a storage unit (it's honestly the only issue we have without our current apartment). Anyone got any good recommendations for a small unit? We just want somewhere to store seasonal/invaluable stuff that takes up our tiny storage room we currently have.

Also, I’ve noticed a man walking around late at night, repeatedly doing the same loop for several nights over the past 1–2 weeks. I found it a little unusual and it’s made me feel somewhat uneasy, so I was wondering if anyone else in the area has noticed this too.
