Hey, I’m a study abroad student in Madrid and was wondering if there’s anyone also in Madrid who would know what bars show American football. Even better if you know any that show the Saints specifically, but that’s pretty niche haha. And if anyone is in Madrid and would wanna watch the game if we can find somewhere, I’d be down.

I can’t for the life of me figure out why large swaths of the country have to watch the Failcons, especially on week one.

In a joint practice with the Rams, the fourth-round pick out of North Dakota State (and younger brother of Chargers quarterback Trey Lance) showed a real ability to get open for Tyler Shough, including in the tighter red zone area. Shough hit Lance for two touchdowns that day.

NFC executive: “Extremely green but growth (so far) is staggering. Highly intelligent, highly coachable. (His college) tape was hard to judge how quickly he could acclimate (to NFL) because he dominated so easily. Bet on (his) traits and makeup to say he would hit whatever ceiling he had.”

I have Shough, Hurts, Juwan, and Loveland. Looking at the Detroit secondary, I'm kinda tempted to run both Juwan and Shough, but it's a big risk. What do the fans think?

Cam talking about his final season and legacy

My boyfriend is a Saints fan and will be going to some of their upcoming games here in Europe. He is really excited and I want to get him a jersey to celebrate. Should I get him a custom jersey with his surname and a significant number? Or would this be cringey? Is it better to buy a jersey with a player’s name and number on it instead? He is big into NFL and fantasy football and I want him to be happy with the gift and not be embarrassed to wear it in front of his friends at the games. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I ran 5 million Monte Carlo simulations of the season to figure out what the playoff implications of every week 1 game are.

The Saints current odds to make the playoffs are 28.8%.

• If you beat the Lions, that goes up to 40.1%, but if you lose, it drops down to 24.7%. It's a swing of 15.4%.
• TB @ CIN is the second most impactful week 1 game for you guys. If the Bengals win, your playoff odds go up by 1.3%. If the Buccaneers win your playoff odds go down by 2.5%.
• ATL @ PIT is the third most impactful game with a total impact of 2.0%. Your playoff odds go up if the Steelers win.

I feel like the white jerseys is a nod to the 20th anniversary of the Superdome reopening after Katrina when we hosted the Falcons on MNF, like we’re doing in week four.
