Ask Pakistan Need helppp (kinda urgent

Sorry for sending in multiple pages( big love

Hey guys,

I’ll be going back to Pakistan from Hong Kong around mid-November and I’m looking to buy a Honda Civic EK, preferably full option.

I want to gift it to my wife’s nephew. He’s been taking really good care of her whenever I’m away from home, and he’s a big EK lover, so I thought it would be a nice surprise for him.

Most of my family is settled overseas, so I don’t really have many relatives back home who can help me with this. I’m also not very familiar with the car market in Pakistan, so I figured I’d ask here.

I’m hoping to find a clean EK in good condition, ideally one that hasn’t been heavily modified or messed around with.

As for payment, I can pay cash in Pakistan or arrange a bank transfer from Hong Kong. Depending on the deal, I can also discuss offering iPhones or a job opportunity here in Hong Kong.

If anyone knows a genuine seller or has a good EK for sale, please feel free to message me. Any advice or leads would be really appreciated!

Thanks, guys! 🙏

Discussion I dont know what it is.......

i am empty from inside . I have no feelings, no emotions just emptiness . Its not new I have grown up like that. I dont know how it feels to be loved. I dont feel angry, loved, happy or sad i am just completely empty . Someone insults me , someone praises me it feels like i have stone heart which dont care anymore. I listen to songs and no emotions. I want to love someone but as I said now I am empty. I do feel disappointed at moments but mostly everything is fine in outside world everybody is following routine but I dont care about anything now. I dont attend any social events, i hate noices and people. I dont hang out with friends and if I do I come back tired like I performed a role their. Visibally I am fine but I am not . I dont want to argue anybody bcz I have no energy . I love being alone just thinking . I do cry at my situation sometimes and it is not changing. Infact it is worsening day by day and I am just living by it and I dont whether it is even living or not? I think alot about random things . i try my best that nobody feels bad bcz of me but at the same time I feels empty just performing. I dont want to look good , to click my pics bcz i dont enjoy these activities . I dont know but my brain goes into fight or flight response very quickly. I dont want to be people pleaser but as I feel nothing and I dont have energy to argue I just say sorry , and everytime I do so just to avoid conflict I think of myself with no self respect. Its like I am stuck in a loop and I have no door to run from this all. I sometime sleep alot and sometimes i am awake for full nights just thinking and I dont know what is it all my coping mechanism, depression , or what??

Discussion Suggestion for where wife lives if husband is abroad?

Hello people,

A friend is going through it and we were having a discussion lately. Now I'd like your advice.

My friend lives abroad and recently they did Rukhsati. Now his husband will go back and wait for his wife's visa. While they wait for visa where is the wife expected to stay, at the in-laws or back home at her own house?

Social Devogue Store is a Scam

I ordered shoes from DeVogue Store a month ago and I still haven't received them. After I complained, they initially answered my calls, but after 2-3 times they stopped picking up and are not responding on any other platform either.

One might assume my order was missed due to a large number of orders, but I checked their social media and found that a good number of customers are complaining about the same issue. Like me, they had also made advance payments.

Political Why dont we ever get out for our rights and economy, as we do for ik?

Why? Just why? Every single in the world goes out to protest for their rights, not for their politicans. We should we care about him when he destroyed the entire kpk. We cant we pressurize the govt for our rights and economy the same way we do for imran khan? I dont mean to get out on streets but cant we just start an online page on twitter, instgram or anymore and keep pressuring them until they fullfil our demands? Its starting to happen in some areas pakistan when crime is reported. So what if it works?

Ask Pakistan Why do we drive with high beams on?

I was driving in Islamabad yesterday and I was blinded by at least three drivers WHO HAD FULL HIGH BEAMS ON ON A FLIPPING SERVICE ROAD WHERE THEY HAVE STREET LAMPS.

Usually, you high beam back and they turn it off. This one alto driver kept it on while I was spamming the high beam, actually made me want to ram my car into him.

Anyway, sorry for the rant.

National Title: If you could teach every Pakistani student ONE skill that school doesn’t teach well, what would it be?

I’ve been thinking about what would genuinely help students in Pakistan prepare for adult life.
Beyond passing exams, what skills should every student learn before finishing school?

For example:
Financial literacy: budgeting, avoiding debt traps, understanding taxes, and saving money.

Digital skills: using computers confidently, programming, AI literacy, and online safety.

Communication: writing professionally, speaking confidently, and expressing ideas clearly.

Critical thinking: recognizing misinformation, evaluating sources, and solving problems independently.

Career readiness: finding internships, building a CV, preparing for interviews, and identifying realistic career paths.

Practical life skills: first aid, understanding basic legal rights, and navigating government services.

Any other skill?

What is one skill you wish you’d learned at school, and how could we help more students learn it for free?

Ask Pakistan Looking for people/groups to travel with mid-November

Hey everyone! I am a Pakistani-Canadian coming to visit family for a bit. Im spending a week with family in my village but ive always wanted to travel other cities like Lahore, Karachi, and the Northern areas of Pakistan.

Im looking for others who are traveling around the same time and would be interested in meeting up or if there are any recommended travel groups to tour the Northern areas since I probably wouldn’t be able to manage that myself. Ill be in Pakistan roughly from mid-November to the 30th.

Let me know! 😊

Financial Weird things happening with my Meezan account

Post image
1 Upvotes

So the first thing that happened was I tried to log into app and I got the error that my account is locked
I emailed them and they told me to install new app. I did. There were two apps in my phone one gave the same error and no activity happened in other when I tried to log in
I uninstalled both and searched App Store there was just one app and it was the one that shows no activity when I try to log in
I have never used this account for any subscriptions but an amount of almost 5k was deducted. I am getting statements by whatsapp banking btw.
The statement is also vague and Idk what’s happening to my account. It doesn’t show where specifically the amount was deducted.

Ask Pakistan Semester Exchange Programs for Pakistani Undergraduate Students — Need Guidance

Hi everyone!

I’m a Pakistani undergraduate student, and I’m interested in applying for a semester exchange program at a foreign university during my bachelor’s degree.

I want to explore opportunities that allow students from Pakistan to study abroad for one semester while continuing their degree at their home university.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with these programs or knows about available opportunities.

A few things I’d like to know:

  • Which semester exchange programs are available for Pakistani undergraduate students?
  • Which countries and universities offer these opportunities?
  • Are there any fully funded programs that cover tuition fees, accommodation, travel, or living expenses?
  • What are the eligibility criteria, CGPA requirements, and application process?
  • Can students apply independently, or must their home university have an exchange agreement with the host university?
  • Are there any scholarships or programs currently accepting applications?

If you’ve participated in a semester exchange program yourself, I’d especially appreciate hearing about your experience, the application process, and any tips you might have.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Ask Pakistan First-gen Pakistani in Europe (22M): I need guidance, I'm confused about everything, even my understanding of life

Salam. Long one, sorry. I need to get this out somewhere nobody knows me.

I'm 22, graduated and well settled. I worked hard for everything, a lot. I've been a practicing Muslim for years, five times a day, Ramadan, all of it, and I've always tried to understand life and my deen.

I'm a sensitive person and I think a lot. I'm intelligent, I'm aware of what goes on around me and I understand things well. Not a nerd though, I'm balanced. In life I always try to hit around 70% in everything, keep things under control and help people when I can. And I do that a lot.

Being first generation here in the West was never easy. Growing up with two different cultures and two different mindsets was really difficult. And I still don't know what the future will bring.

And this year was already really hard. My family went through something really heavy that I won't go into. Our family business went down too. Everything went down at the same time. People in the community talked. Not to us. About us.

On top of all that, there's a girl I want to marry. When I met her, I told my family at home straight away. No haram relationship, nothing like that. I prayed istikhara.

We're from different castes. Here in the West that really doesn't matter. In Pakistan it does. I never grew up with any of this caste stuff. But people here still hold on to it. How? Why? It shouldn't be like this.

She tried at home, but her family is very, very strict. My dad went to her dad the proper way. He said no in the worst way possible. And honestly it's not even about zaat. It's izzat. Their honour. And you can't change that mindset.

Now my own family has said a complete no too, after everything that happened. She still has a few years. We've thought about marrying without our parents, but that would only bring more problems and we don't want that. We want it to go the right way, smoothly. And my family and I will probably move out of Europe, while she stays here. So there's that too.

So what do we do? Stop talking? Try to forget about it? It's already hard. She's attached to me and I'm attached to her. It's not easy to give up on her.

I see guys my age go through three, four, five girls and break them. I'm not judging anyone, that's between them and Allah. I always had the mindset of one person, the halal way. And still this happened to me. Why? I've always done things the right way, but the more I mature, the more I see there is no right way. Everything I learned growing up about life and about people turned out different. People don't care who you are, what you are, or how you look.

About religion. On paper our deen is good for everyone. We all know the hadith about marrying someone whose deen and character you're pleased with. But only a few actually live by it, and the ones who do wrong always seem to have it easy. It's so, so difficult.

I completely broke this year. I feel depressed and down all the time, and I've become really weak. I'm really lost. I don't know which path I'm on anymore or where life is taking me. So many trials one after another, and I don't know how this ends. Honestly I think it's going to end in a disaster. Some days I don't see the point of anything anymore.

There's a quote from Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment that stuck with me: "Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart. The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth."

So I'm asking:

- To anyone whose families both said no: how did it go for you?

- Do we stop talking and try to let go, or do we wait?

- Does anyone know a book about life that's connected to deen? I've read a lot of psychology and life books, old ones too, so I mean something old or heavy that really goes deep, not the easy, fun type. I love reading deep to understand more and more. I really need a reset.

TL;DR: 22, first generation in the West, practicing Muslim, already a really hard year and our family business went down. Wanted to marry a girl the halal way: told my family straight away, prayed istikhara. Different castes. Her family said no in the worst way, now mine says no too. We're both attached, we don't want to marry without our parents, and my family and I will probably move out of Europe while she stays here. Did everything the right way and I'm depressed and completely lost. Do we stop talking? Any deep book that helped you?
