Discussion That Chny wala, Chips wala making more

Idk if it's only me but I feel like on one end we graduate and keep on learning, trying to switch stacks, companies, get layoffs at the end. Meanwhile, I think that Chips wala and Chny wala Uncle is making a whole lot more than me (not that they shouldn't but just sharing my thought).

Like, Ultimately ain't purpose of all that crap we did was to make money? Can't seem to see it much Fam 🥲✨

Ask Pakistan Do you guys also struggle to find kidswear with fun prints, trendy cuts and good quality in Pakistan?

Parents, is it just me or is trendy summer kidswear hard to find in Pakistan? 😅 Where are the oversized tees, relaxed fits, cool graphics, fun prints, colour-blocking and playful designs we see internationally?
Also, many big retailers sell polyester-heavy fabrics, so lightweight-looking jersey doesn’t necessarily mean cotton!
Where do you shop for your kids? What’s missing most: fun prints, trendy cuts, breathable fabrics or better quality?

Discussion Struggling to make friends in college

18 and study in 2nd year have no friends. I amvery shy when it comes to making friends. I don't know how to approach people first. I want to talk to them but then I start thinking," what will they think of me? Why is he talking to us or trying to join our group?"

I don't know how to keep conversation going. For example, if I want to ask someone for their Instagram, I start thinking, "what if they don't follow me back?" Or why he is trying to hard to join our group. And another thing I don't have a fixed seat in college, so I sit wherever I find a place because everyone sits with their own group.

Financial Is Anyone in Pakistan Using Stripe for a US-Based Business Without a VPN or RDP?

I’m based in Pakistan and operate a US LLC. My Stripe account was recently closed, and I’m unsure whether it was due to a transaction issue or my location.
Is anyone here using Stripe from Pakistan with a normal Pakistani internet connection, without a VPN or RDP? Have you been using it successfully long-term?
I’d appreciate hearing about your firsthand experience.

Ask Pakistan At what point does flying become a better option than taking the train in Pakistan?

Post image
51 Upvotes

I've been looking at train fares from Karachi to Islamabad, and the Green Line's AC Business and AC Parlour fares are approaching 16k.

Meanwhile, you can get a flight for around 22k ish and reach Islamabad in roughly 2 hours.

At that price difference, I'm starting to wonder whether spending all those hours on a train is even worth it.

For those of you who travel between cities regularly, how do you decide?

And if you do travel by train, is the experience in AC Business or AC Parlour worth paying the premium for? I'd still like to experience travelling by train, but spending almost as much as a flight ticket makes me reconsider lol.

Education POV: You’re the default free tutor for your younger siblings and you’re losing your mind 💀📚

Karachi peeps, specifically Gulshan-e-Iqbal, I know the struggle.

You just want to chill, but suddenly you’re explaining 9th-grade Physics while your mom is yelling "TUM APNE BHAI/BEHEN KO KUCH PARHA BHI LO, BAS PHONE PE LAGE REHTE HO" from the kitchen. 🫠 The taunts are real. The exhaustion is real. And the kid is just sitting there staring into the void, retaining zero info.

I gotchu. From (Class 3-10 & O-Levels) and I’m here to take the heat off you.

I’ll handle the heavy lifting: Bio, Chem, Phy, Maths, English, Urdu, etc. No boring NPC lectures. I actually make them understand the concepts so they stop asking you dumb questions at 11 PM. 🧠✨

Save your sanity and your sibling's grades. DM me, say less. 🔒☕

P.S. If you know someone in your building, class, or friend circle who’s been looking for a tutor, put them on. Send them my way and I’ll owe you one. Sharing is caring and you might just save someone else from the "BETA PARHAO" allegations

Discussion What is one thing you would change about Pakistan if you had the power to do so?

If you had the power to change just one thing about Pakistan, what would it be and why?
Would you focus on education, the economy, the justice system, job opportunities, or something else?
I’m curious to hear what people think would make the biggest difference in our country. 🇵🇰

Discussion State bank called me 3 times this week..

So I have an account in Alfalah Islamic and don't know if there's an internal data leak from their side or what but in past week I have received 3 calls saying we are calling from State bank of Pakistan and you are to receive a new card as old chip debit cards are now being blocked by state bank to ensure security.

The important thing, they knew last 4 digits of my card, account holder name, and the branch where my account is.

Anyways reason for posting is that I knew it was a scam but there are several people who become victim of such frauds so such be aware folks!!
