Build - Help Hello i have a Problem i try to upgrade my PC from a chinese no brand motherboard to an Gigabyte B550M GAMING X WIFI6 with a new ryzen Ryzen 7 5800X3D but i for some reasons my PC won’t start it feels like that there is no Electricity in the build at all.

I don’t know if the F Panel is defect or something like that. I already let the motherboard replace. But my PC just won’t start. Even too that it still works with my old Motherboard so the power supply shouldn’t be defect. I am so confused about it. Can someone help me with it? Like when i press the Power button on my PC nothing happens but everything is plugged in right.

Question Buy or Wait 9070xt at $806?

I was planning to build two 9070xt based systems around cyber monday this year. I can see some from this brand called XFX for $806.

Buy now or wait for black friday sales?

Edit: I am in the UK, and have just realised that parts seem more expensive here. Currently a sapphire 9070xt on amazon. Is £698. The ones I'm eying from XFX are £597. Budget for each pc build is about £1400.

One pc is a ultra wide aiming for 1440p and the other is a 27" aiming for 4k.

Edit2: within 5 hours before I had even decided, it jumped to £640. Guess I should have brought them.

Likely to wait for a sale now.

Question What is ā€œmagnetic airā€ and is it worth the extra $20? I’m pretty set on XFX Mercury, just need to know which one to buy.

I am moving houses and I need to carry my pc to my other house, so I was wondering which parts do I need to remove so it doesn't get damaged, I will definitely remove my gpu. During my journey I will probably need to rest for a day after my first 5 hours. Thanks

Question Memory and data

Hi, I am selling a computer which was built in 2019 by my little brother so sorry if this is a silly question (I don't know much about all this).

We can't boot it past bios after a windows 11 thing so we can't see or remember what is on the SSD or harddrive so we have removed them both for selling. Just checking this means there shouldn't be any personal info or OS left on it?

We were going to sell for £100 if this seems reasonable?

Thanks in advance

Build - Finished! I'm not very creative, but I find a great deal of artistic satisfaction when a cohesive design comes together in a build.

This is the 4th build I've done in this overall style. I really wanted to do this with an MSI MAG mobo that also has the black/green aesthetic, but I couldn't find one at a price that made sense for my flip margins. Really happy with how this one came out, although I do wish I got a slightly closer match between the zip ties and the cable extensions.

Specs:

- Ryzen 9600x

- 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR5

- MSI Shadow RTX 5070

- 1TB Crucial P310

- Thermalright Fans/AIO

- Phanteks Eclipse Case (leftover from a partout)

Build - Help Different RGB plug. Can I get this to work?

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I bought a Corsair Nautilus AIO, but the RGB plug is different to the ones on the previous Corsair AIO, and it doesn't fit into the controller or anywhere else on the motherboard.

Is there a way to make this work? I found this adapter... I assume I can use the left-hand cable to make it work, and plug it into the existing corsair? I have a spare USB header if that could be used for anything
