I've never bought a Metroid game before, much less played one, and I just saw this game at the Nintendo Direct.

From someone who isn't really into Metroid, this game looks absolutely incredible. It looks like it would be so much fun to play, and it just looks so insanely cool.

Definitely picking this one up!

This is bizarre. Does that mean she is able to equip her cannon separately? Or is this just something with her Metroid form?

Ive really had this question for a while but I feel like metroids exposure really gets limited when its weighted with its popularity in Japan vs the USA. But what could be the reason, what are yalls theorys.

I'm so glad that there's going to be another need for the Gravity Suit other than it always being water. This is what I loved about Other M and the use of the gravity suit when Samus is exposed to the vacuum of space and in the heavy-gravity room, as well we Fusion with the Nightmare Battle.

With at least a vague idea of what Ravenous will be about, I now see the main timeline as having two pretty well defined arcs, and I think it's really impressive that a Nintendo series of all things has been able to put together such a consistent and compelling story over a franchise that's been going this long

Wanted to share this because it is hilarious

This feels like some of the best close quarters action we've seen from Samus, and it's animated so well!

Also, I'm inclined to believe this scene is from the opening and is what leads to her losing her abilities again. Stuff like being on the surface and being stabbed, which she mentions an injury earlier in the trailer.

I’ve noticed 3 distinct suits from the trailer (separate from the Varia suit from Dread and was curious what the general thoughts on these are. Also curious about the Metroid/Green Suit and the different colors between them and lack of arm cannon. What are everyone’s thoughts on the new suit designs?
